Overall a really enjoyable relaxing overnight stay at Titanic Spa.

The positives
Staff we're very welcoming. Food was delicious. Amazing full body massage treatment. Very relaxing stay. The apartment was very comfortable, comfy beds, hot powerful clean shower, great views from our room.

The 'could be better'
All facilities were fab but could have been cleaner. One of the steam room was not the best in terms of smell, random empty water cones in the steam rooms and wet cushions in quiet room- basics that could have been dealt with easily. Also our treatment time ( a full body massage) was at lunch which was bad planning as this meant we weren't able to use the other facilities without losing the effect of the oils that had been lathered over us. Overall better attention to little details like the above would enhance the experience from good to amazing.

Oh and never trust the sat nav getting to the venue- mine literally showed me the highs and lows of the Huddersfield hills :/

Just spent an overnight stay at the Tiranic Spa in Hudesfield. Very enjoyable it was to. I had a back massage it was so good. Apartment, Restarant and facilities were very good. Pool could of been a little warmer. But it didn't spoil our stay.

Came with a 2 4 1 offer and was made to feel very welcome and relaxed from the start. Had our light lunch which was delicious and set us up for a lazy relaxed afternoon. When we could check into our apartment we were very impressed with the room and amenities and decorations. Could have done with a bigger sofa my only small quibble. All the staff were friendly and helpful especially Gemma in the restaurant and the guy in the gym too (apologies I didn't get his name) All in all a lovely spa break and great value for money - can't wait to revisit. 5 out of 5!!

This was our second visit to Titanic Spa, and we loved the first time. We booked for New Year's Day to stay overnight. Upon checking in, we booked our treatments and I have to say the lady serving us was so nice and helpful. We booked 2 Decleor Aroma Detox Wraps - they were amazing! Our robes were really bobbly which wasn't a massive problem but meant they weren't very soft. We used the heat and ice experience which was good although one of the rooms had a fault (it was still usable, though) and the plunge pool needed cleaning. It really wasn't busy though so we used all of the rooms comfortably. The relaxation room was so busy we couldn't use that at all. The pool and gym were lovely as expected. Lunch and dinner was very good, though we were expecting a buffet lunch like our first visit - this time it was a set menu. All of the food was so delicious and we really enjoyed it. The staff in the restaurant were lovely. We couldn't check into our apartment at 2pm and had to wait as there was a delay with the cleaning. The receptionist wasn't really nice about it, she just told us the rooms weren't ready but proceeded to check other people in whose rooms were ready. When we did get there our apartment was much smaller than last time, though a good size for 2 people. The bathroom was disappointing (stained bathtub) and the double bed was just 2 singles pushed together, but overall we were pretty satisfied. Breakfast was just some croissants and cereals in the room, with some fruit that wasn't that fresh. When it came to checking out we were overcharged for our treatments by the same receptionist who was a bit cold the previous day, and had to be refunded which was a shame. I'd still recommend Titanic Spa, and we left feeling really refreshed, but there were a few little issues that stop me from giving it an 'excellent' rating this time around.

Went with my sister in late September 2013. Walked in to a very overcrowded reception area, told to sit and wait until receptionist became available. Given a cup of cold coffee and waited so long we had to rush to our room, dump all our stuff and rush to our first treatment. There were so many people at the Spa that the girls doing the treatments were really overworked and harassed - and under pressure to move everyone along. The apartment we were given was ok, but the decor was very tired and small details like the threadbare towels did not help. Worst of all were the fantastically uncomfortable beds....and the ensuing terrible nights sleep. Breakfast was a cold croissant wrapped in celophane and some cereal. Not best pleased that we had to leave the place by 10 a.m (and they are VERY strict about this) and so could not use the spa on the second morning of our stay. The one nice thing was the restaurant food, which was delicious and light and obviously cooked using the best ingredients. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Didn't even bother complaining to the staff who were so over -worked they didnt know if they were coming or going! Will not visit again. But what a missed opportunity - could be a wonderful place if only better managed and properly staffed!

We used our vouchers that we bought earlier in the year, £119 for an overnight stay for two people. Treatments were not included obviously. Spa is OK, not the best I have been to, it is quite small so gets overcrowded when busy. Some of the warmer rooms in the spa smell a bit unpleasant, not due to the fragrances used, but a bit fusty. It doesn't take long to "do" the spa and get round everything. Then what? Well, there are the bean bags and beds in the relaxing lounge, if you can get in, as these are soon taken up and the room gets full. There is the pool area with a few loungers around it, if you are lucky to be able to bag one in time as they are soon taken up when busy also. The steam room and sauna are good in this area though, the pool is cold but very big. The upside is you can get into your room at 2pm so when you can't find anywhere to relax at least you can go there and enjoy a cuppa and get your feet up and relax.
The apartments are lovely. I've been three times now and they have all been different. If you get one with a plastic hard sofa, throw the duvet over it to soften the seating and it makes it better. The cloth settees are more comfortable.
Lunch is a one course offering, tasty and sparse, but to be fair adequate. Dinner is two courses, also a tasty offering. The dining room staff are very good, always cheerful and helpful. Corkage is expensive, so have your wine in your room and spend the corkage on a cocktail or another drink. Breakfast is DIY, but you could take bacon and egg and bread to have a good breakfast, depends on how much of an occasion you want breakfast to be.
Will go again if another good deal comes up as we like the idea of staying overnight.

Room Tip: All rooms god, but some better than others, but by experience, no point in asking for a particular v...

My husband and I booked an overnight stay and spa package on special offer of £99 each. The spa facilities were so calming and relaxing, decorated in muted, natural tones with subdued lighting. This felt luxurious and comforting. The apartment was such a lovely surprise with a view over the stream and modern, clean decor. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed, even a dishwasher! Cupboards had the essentials such as all the glasses, crockery, pans and cooking utensils that you would need, as well as cleaning products.

We spent the day in the spa and booked our evening meal on room service rather than dining downstairs, so we could enjoy the room. Room service was a bit slow, being 20 minutes late and quite a long time between courses, but this was a minor thing.

The bedroom was spacious, with crisp linen and a very comfy bed. We woke up relaxed and wishing we could spend another night!

We will definitely do this again.
