We stayed here the night before we flew from Luton airport and can highly recommend it. The staff were very friendly & helpful, the airparks car park is close by and the rooms are very comfortable. We will definitely be using this hotel again.

I stay at this hotel fairly regularly, it is what you would expect from a holiday inn, standard clean rooms, reasonable food etc I find the staff to be very helpful, i had an issue whereby i needed to change an easyjet flight, and of course had to print off the tickets before going to the airport to avoid the ridiculous charges Easyjet impose if you dont have them, anyway, the girl on reception couldnt have been more helpful, she gave me a code to use the computer in reception and offered as much help as possible to get me sorted. The bar area is clean and comfortable, however sometimes you have a slight wait if there is no one around to serve, you might have to let reception know you need a drink when the bar is not manned, but that is usually later at night. If i am travelling alone on business I sometimes feel uncomfortable going into a bar area or eating on my own, but i never feel like this in this hotel, there are a couple of TV's in the lounge and a little snug area so you can quite discreetly sit on your own. My only complaints would be that occasionally there are airport staff staying from nearby Luton airport, and i have often been woken by them as they leave for their very early flights, but obviously this is not the hotels fault. I would say the main users of this hotel would be on business, i dont often see families there.

Had a fantastic time at the holiday inn during our end of year church conference.
Staff were exceptionally friendly however , the outstanding member of staff was the Chef . Never seen a chef mingle so much with guests , asking about their welfare and ensuring everything ran smoothly . Saw him speak to an elderly lady at breakfast who was on her own. Such a kind and warm gesture. All the staff looked happy and were quick to assist. Best holiday inn I have visited in terms of service. Looking forward to my next visit !!

I stay at the Holiday Inn Luton M1, J9 on a regular basis. The reason I continue to return is the attitude of the staff - always friendly and attentive.

The rooms are a good quality, clean and a good size. Most of the time they upgrade IHG Rewards Club Platinum members to executive rooms, although it is disappointing they do not provide the complimentary drinks/points vouchers like other Holiday Inn hotels. Free WiFi is provided for IHG Rewards Club members.

The restaurant and room service provides a good menu of food you would expect in a typical hotel. Depending on who is on, there is sometimes good wine recommendations with the food too. Room service is always served quickly too.

Breakfast is a casual affair, and the ladies who usually oversee service are efficient and friendly. The food is good and there is the usual selection of cooked and continental. The suggestion for improvement I would make is that the Tchibo coffee machine is not very good!

Overall the staff make the place a pleasant environment to stay at: I would recommend without hesitation.

Held our staff xmas party at this hotel and it was great. The staff, particularly Dominique and the Chef (sorry I cannot remember your name) could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. A great evening. Thank you Luton South.

We spent a couple of nights at the Holiday Inn Luton South - it was near enough to travel to our busy family in Harpenden, but a small distance from the noisy M1. After a fraught ferry journey from Dublin and long drive we found the Holiday Inn to be calm, peaceful and welcoming. Well-trained and friendly staff - a busy check-in was dealt with efficiently and a blocked sink was cleared within 5 minutes. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well-equipped. A good Restaurant Menu was available but we ate dinner with our family. Breakfast was superb with a 5* choice - fresh fruit, cheese, cereal, yoghurt, Danish pastries and a full English Breakfast, with self-service on a weekday and individual orders on a Sunday. Small quantities were available at a time in the self-service area and were regularly replaced with freshly cooked items. Jerome managed the breakfast area, he was courteous and helpful and aided by Kenny constantly checked that the service ran smoothly.
We could not have asked for more - and left feeling refreshed and restored - thank you, we will definitely return.

this hotel was good but it was basically in the middle of no where about an hour away from the city center. The hotel cost £5 for an hour of wifi I live in the most expensive part of England (LONDON) and its one pound. This hotel has a nice Jacuzzi and a heated pool but i was put off by knowing a baby has recently pooed in the pool. The room was really clean and the bed was really comfortable. the breakfast was average but this hotel needs more of a selection the hotel never had half of the food they had on the breakfast menu. The changing room were really clean but an elderly women slipped and fell hurting her shoulder. Overall this is a good hotel but it could do with improvement.
