Okay so we visited this with some trepidation on a wet miserable afternoon some 10 days or so ago
We had been going to Kitnors for many, many years and had always had a superb meal or just a refreshing tea. But we knew it was under new management so we were unsure, but anywhere for a drink, we thought, on such a wet day.
Now we have three golden retrievers from 6 months to 10 years so we found shelter under the lean to and settled down, only to realise that our eldest had disappeared. However, she was "rounded up" and brought to us by one of the new owners as she was about to cause mayhem and havoc in the kitchen. Expecting to be evicted we were pleasantly surprised by the friendly welcome.
Even more surprised by the fact that the teas were as good as always and the garden view delightful as always.
Anyone who can accept 3 retrievers is going to get my recommendation and deserves to succeed so all the best to the new people we will be returning soon. (Promise we will keep the old gal under better control she has got a bit wayward since the new pup arrived)
