What a total load of rubbish, the room was dirty, smelt, damp, bedding was stained slept in.
My husband had some rascailsim at him (and that was from a member of staff).I asked another member of staff were and who do i complain to over this, his words was " if i was you i would wait till you get home and send an email, has nothing will be done ."
The food was like pig food, it was slops, and tasted like it.I have never in my life seen any thing like this before,( i am not a snob, encase you might think i am).
There was rowdy people outside our room, peeing against our wall, drunk men, being sick out side our room.We left a day early, Will never ever go back to that s*** HOLE AGAIN.

We've been here for the last 4 yrs with our 2 boys(now 8 & 12).Always stay self catering in silver bungalow which is ground floor, fully equiped kitchen(no dishwasher)-kids can play outside on scooters, skateboard, kick ball round etc & we can keep an eye on them-also fairly quiet area away from main drag(which is where some of the Gold acommodation is,don't fancy it).Huge Tescos close by,we stock up before checking in & several Spar type shops on site which aren't too pricey.Eating out costs about the same as eating out at home.Rooms clean, comfy, heating good if early/late in year.Entertainment good, lots of free stuff to do & not too pricey to pay for other stuff-go carts, high wall climbing etc.Pool is good, opens at 10am-get there early to avoid queues for flumes etc.Avoid standard room only acommodation(unless you there for adult,hen/stag do's,drinking loads & don't care where you sleep!)Husband injured his leg 2 yrs ago & we had to stay extra night & were put into this room, not great!!Check your heating, hot water works before unpacking-we had to repack to be moved once-they are good at sorting out any problems if you have any.Any other questions, please ask.Usually stay June/July or October.

Room Tip: Silver bungalows are ground floor-you have to pay extra for other rooms to guarantee ground floor.Al...

At a shade over £80 for 3 nights for a fun adult weekend with 5 other friends I really couldn't grumble. The rooms are small but comfortable, spotlessly clean and functional (microwave (not listed in documentation so that was a nice surprise), oven, hob and teeny tiny fridge (no freezer)). The entertainment was amazing (much better than I had anticipated). It was a noisy weekend with lots of people drinking lots of alcohol and letting their hair down but isn't that what this sort of holiday is about? I rarely drink but that didn't stop me having fun. I was surprised by the amount of people that dressed up for the 80's theme - it really was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. My only criticism would be the fast food 'theme' - there wasn't one healthy option on campus hence 4 dot rating.

Room Tip: Stayed at "Halcyon Village" - or something spelt like that. Comfortable. Seagulls were a...

My son is two years old and i thought that Butlins was a brilliant holiday for him. There is so much to do. There are rides that are free and there are rides you pay for. But i found that the free rides were best (in bob the builders yard) and my son never got bored. The food was great with lots of choice. It was much better than expected and all the food was very well cooked. We got the basic food package and found it very good value for money. I would advise to plan what you are going to do and see as certain attractions do get busy quickly. But they do repeat some attractions so you can fit it all in. When we got home i booked 3 other holidays at Butlins because my son love it so much. Also i was very suprised to see such a clean place. Everytime i looked around there were several staff that were wiping units and emptying bins. Overall a good amount of staff for the resort. Nice happy friendly staff that are approachable when you need something.
