“Winter stay”
Reviewed February 3, 2018 for a stay in January 2018

Lovely cottage, very cosy with everything you need. With 2 wood burners as well as storage heaters. The kitchen is very well equipped. The cottage has several little quirks, mainly upstairs.

“Spacious, well equipped cottage”
Reviewed October 13, 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Lovely peaceful cottage, plenty of room for families and couples. Cottage has everything you need and enjoyed the stay. Log burner was great on the chilly nights, it heated whole of cottage. Phone signal hard to find on 1st day but was fine after that. If I could find one gripe it would be no WiFi (I would be happy to pay extra for that) I did manage to connect via my mobile when I wanted to though. Cottage also had lovely enclosed private, back garden which my little dog loved. I was very surprised to find 2 bathrooms, spacious en-suite with bath and a seperate shower room. We did have couple of days where parking was a problem but they were renovating pub so I think builders were taking parking bays up! Shame it was opening after we gone. Surrounding area beautiful and Dunster (which was about 5/10 mins away) is well worth a visit. Would definatly book again as we have relative in Minehead and the cottage was ideal location

“Ideal getaway from it all”

Location is beautiful, surrounded by deep wooded valleys and only a few miles from the coast. Cottage is well-equipped and bigger than it looks with a lovely little sun-trap patio garden at the back. Not far to Minehead for shops and pubs, shame that the local pub has shut but the locals say that it is going to re-open in the not too distant future. We very much enjoyed our stay and could happily have stayed longer.
