If you are visiting, save money by booking on line if you don't I think this attraction is over priced, also the car park next to the attraction is expensive. Plenty to see, environment clean, staff friendly.

Hi there,

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback.

We do recommend that guests book their tickets online to make use of the series of discounted tickets. The car park is owned and operated by Scarborough Council and we therefore are unable to alter the prices. We do recommend that guests park on Scalby Mills Road, the road leading down to the centre, where parking is free all day. Parking there will result in a short walk down to the centre.

We will be sure to pass along your kind comments to the team and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Many thanks,

All the staff were very knowledgeable about all the animals. We weren't herded through like cattle meaning we could watch the penguins for as long as we wanted.

Interesting and informative. Entry was a bit pricey as my 3 tear old granddaughter tried to whizz round in under an hour

Hi Bernie,

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback.

We are delighted to hear that you found your visit to be both educational and enjoyable. We do offer a series of discounted tickets on our website which you may find provide you with better value for money. Or we are also running our season pass promotion, anyone who purchases a full price ticket can be upgraded for free to our season pass, allowing you to return throughout the remainder of the year free of charge. If you did happen to purchase a full price ticket during your last visit all you would need to bring with you is your receipts from your previous visit for the front of house team to upgrade the ticket.

We look forward to welcoming you back again soon.

Many thanks,

We booked online for whilst we was on holiday, prices like usual are cheaper online (I got a parent and toddler and one adult for £24) can’t complain at the price! My closest one is the Trafford centre and all of our tickets were probably less than one for there! And that one is rubbish!
We all thoroughly enjoyed it! Start to finish! We loved the seals and the walk through the penguin enclosure! Which is what makes this one unlike others! My little girl liked seeing the otters and was amazed watching the turtle being fed from above the tank! I liked the attention to details in the different rooms like the Viking boat that’s in the sting ray room, and the turtle activity me and my daughter played with the teddies and ‘returned’ them to the sea! Would 100% return! your in the area it’s worth booking online to go!

We booked tickets using the online site a week in advance to use advantage of the early booking discount.
We arrived at the car park which was a pay and display. It was £7 for 6 hours, £4 for 3 hours.. we payed muttering how extortionate it was.
When we got to the desk we seen that the website has messed up our tickets but this was sorted very fast without any problems which was a huge relief.
We went during school hours, it was very quiet so we managed to get around without much crowding. A little later in the visit my youngest daughter wandered off. After a run around the area she was still unfound. I ran to the desk as her dad continued to look around and as soon as I told the woman on the desk staff ran out with walkie talkies, she was found fairly fast with all eyes looking for her.
In total we spent a little over 3 hours here (due to the ticket on our car). We thought there was enough to see within the centre as long as you’re willing to take the time to watch the animals and learn the facts which are all around the tanks, or during the feeds when someone gives you further facts on the animals that they have with them rather than the animal in general. We learnt the giant turtle was reduced with a head injury and is now brain damaged so cannot go back into the wild. We also seen the seal hospital that they have rescued to get the seals back to health and release them again. We walked in the shark tunnel which was surrounded by sealife. We seen what we would find in our local rock pools and got to handle them too! We even walked through the penguin enclosure to see them up close which was amazing! The money the sealife makes goes back into their animals that they are caring for which you can not argue with if you are a animal lover and also teaches you what impact our lifestyles have on the wildlife which is actually shocking! All four of us loved our visit.

People who are complaining there isn’t much to see or how fast they got around it seem to be the people who want a brief look at a animal and move onto the next. Why bother coming to a place like this? Look on google instead hahaha!
