We stayed for one night on the 27th July in a double room. We paid £55.00 bed & breakfast for 2 of us. The room room was nice, but if i had to pick a fault i would say the carpet could have done with a clean. The room had a tv which was on a stand but if you watched it in bed it was low. it also had a dvd player and freeview. Bathroom had a shower, no bath. That was fine. View not very good but not bothered we only slept in the room. Great hotel for parking. Got a space no problem. Breakfast service was Excellent, top marks on food & hosting.About a 15 minute walk to shops not far.
Overall great hotel and would go back. Thanks.

Difficut to fault for a guest house of this type. Room was fine with king bed although the bathroom a was small. The on-site parking was a bonus. Breakfast was excellent with a very good choice. Location is good in a leafy part of Scarborough although anyone with mobility problems may struggle with the 10 minute walk to the seafront or town centre. Service could not have been more welcoming. Will certainly return to this little gem.

Room Tip: Ask for a large bathroom. Disabled visitors should as for a ground floor room as there is no lift.

This was my third stay and would definitely recommend it. I had the single room which has a queen size bed. It doesn't feel like a "Billy no mates" room! It's quite spacious. A lot has been said previously about the breakfast. Yes, it's tasty and plentiful!

Just been to this B&B and have difficulty seeing what the 4star guest accommodation award is for. We had a family unit, childs bed was made up with a huge dirty mark on bottom sheet, bunkbeds unstable and insecure. No heating in childs bathroom. Main bathroom has been tiled very nicely, then left to become quite dirty, radiator was filthy. All window ledges dirty and black mould around windows. Grab rail in bath was loose. Breakfast on last day was awful, fried eggs hard, no yoke at all.sausages full of gristle. Worse of all, proprietors seem to disappear after 1ish till early evening, they state they will service rooms between 10:30-11-30 each day, not a long time for all those rooms, and it shows. I feel their heart isn't really in this at all, very disappointing stay overall

Good location, proprietors very nice and friendly, breakfast - all you could ask for, only problem was the service on the room dont expect a full service but not to wipe down bathroom shelf above sink all week, left dirty forks on tea tray even though i put them in dirty tea cups twice, full bin bag left for 2 days,i even left empty a sweet paper on the floor to see if it would be taken but was put on the side.cleaner for the top floor can not be margaret.

Room Tip: do not go to room 8 very small, toilet makes a noise every time you sit on it and does not flush wel...

What a nice B&B this is, we would recommend this to family and friends. We stayed for 3 nights, room was lovely, breakfast was fantastic. The B&B is a short distance walk to the centre and the beach front. There are a couple of pubs just near the B&B and a co-op just round the corner.

If you want a nice, quiet few days away this is the place to stay.....we will be back :)
