“Good value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2013

Had some work to do in scarborough last year and needed a place to eat that was good value and close by, the Lord Rosebery just fitted the bill. We seem to settle on the gormet burgers and for under £7 including a drink keep going back for these. Went again this week and plumbed for the same again only comment would be the portion sizes have become slightly smaller although still sufficient. Still good value and for a quick bite to eat in decent surroundings this is good. Not fine dinning it is what it is good pub food.

“Plenty of room”

This is a very well located and extremely spacious pub with the usual Wetherspoons menu and a good mix of customers.

“Value for money”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2013

Most nights are themed for food, as well as having a choice from the full menu, makes choice extensive. Very quick service, lots of drinks to choose from. We attended for four nights during their two weeks of Great Ales Festival in Oct 2013

“Pub not weatherspoons standard”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2013

I found this pub to be dirty and the tables not being cleared very quickly. When i ordered my fish and chips got a deal as it was a friday. The meal came quickly the chips were okay but the fish was soggy. Will not have fish again here.
