Seen the Rotunda building for many years when visiting Scarborough as a child so interested to learn on recent visit that it was now a museum demonstrating the coast line, dinosaurs etc.
As noted by previous reviewers it could do with more explanation and it is very dimly lit - suspect that is due to the age of some of the fragile items.
It was free admission the day we went (some of the gallery was closed for work)...in way I'm pleased it was as the admission price was quite steep and I think I'd have been less impressed.
Great to see the building being used
