Our family stayed for 10 days at Betton Farm in August in our caravan. We stayed the year before and enjoyed it so much that we returned. It is a good base to visit the surrounding area. It has lovely views over fields and local landscape. The caravan park area is well maintained.

Our daughter loved the playpark which is great, and the animals. The manager and the farm hand (Phil the Farmer) are very friendly. Phil was extremely kind to the children, explaining about the animals and being very patient. We appreciated the time he took speaking to our daughter, and she enjoyed watching him feed the animals etc.

Facilities for caravan owners - dish washing area and toilets always a high standard of cleanliness. Tokens for the showers 75p for 5 minutes. Sinks and toilets for the public are the ones used for the caravan site, so best to get ready early before the public start arriving. Saying this, this is just a minor point as all the plus's well outnumber this negative. We had a great holiday again and our daughter had a ball!

staying at the Blue Dolphin near Filey we needed to fill in a couple of hours so we headed for this place as we passed it earlier in the day, we thought it was a petting farm but far from it,
no entry charge apart from the bee displays, we went in through the shop, bought some honey beer and went upstairs were the have some impresive hives behind glass, you can sample honey and read all the info on bees and honey products,
on site it has small workshops and a cafe, toilets and a small collection of animals, it also has a childrens play tower with slides, swings and a collection of toys to play on, the grand daughter would have spent more time there if we had some but we had to get back,
they do have a collection box for donations for the upkeep of the area,
it is run buy a charity for people with learning difficulties,
its some were we would go back to,

Plenty of information about the different types of Bee's and shop to buy various produce.

However if you're not keen on bee's buzzing around beware as they do come out in to the open!
