Room extraordinarily good. Fantastic views. Very comfortable bed. Food excellent. Decor immaculate and interesting. This is definitely a hotel for jazz enthusiasts (we're not but still enjoyed it immensely).
The hotel is very near all amenities, shopping centre a few yards, railway station nearby, theatre nearby, pleasant walk to the seafront. Has a small car park which seemed very rare in Scarborough.
Very quiet location, not overlooked.

Just returned from 2 night break. Husband had booked a suite on first floor over looking the crescent, as birthday treat and it was absolutely lovely. Really spacious with huge windows letting the sun in and very nicely furnished, with little extras such a bathrobes and slippers. Staff all extremely friendly and the girls on reception were very helpful. Excellent breakfast in nice surroundings. All in all, the prefect relaxing break. We will be returning as soon as we can.

We booked a one night special offer which included evening dinner, excellent value for money. Hotel ideally located in Scarborough, close to beach and town centre. Room was large, clean and well equipped. Evening dinner was good even though part of my lamb was very undercooked, the restaurant manager was concerned about the food being returned and offered us a dessert choice from the a la carte as well as the the table d'hote menu to make up for it. Breakfast good even though you had to wait ages for the cooked breakfast, baked beans were missed. Would stay again if in the area

Stayed on a Monday / Tuesday night for business purposes and was very impressed with the room / price / service we got.
All bar / reception / catering staff were helpful, friendly and seemed to enjoy what they were doing.
Our rooms (219/220/221) were all large, comfortable (the toilet seats were a bit 'wacky') and had reasonable facilities inc tea/coffee/bottled water/biscuits.
The only downside to the stay was the outside noise - people shouting / boy racers could be heard quite easily. The car park is also very small and you'd do well to be able to shoehorn yourself into a space. The wireless connection for the internet also seemed to be a bit temperamental.
The food in the restaurant was excellent and would recommend eating here, although it is located in town for easy access to many other places.

On Friday 8 January, a group of 11 of us was travelling through Scarborough on the way to Whitby to celebrate my birthday when we were caught in absolutely terrible weather conditions. The road was closed and we turned back into Scarborough seaching for some shelter - this we found at Beiderbecke's Hotel. The welcome could not have been warmer, the staff (manager, receptionist, chef and bar / restaurant workers) were all wonderful and the rooms allocated to us were large, warm and comfortable. We had a terrific breakfast next morning before once more braving the elements!
I have never stayed there before but fully intend to do so in the future - its a gem of a hotel and well worth a visit.

Eleven friends were travelling to whitby to celebrate a 60th birthday. we were unable to get there because of the A171 Scarborough to Whitby road been closed because of the heavy snow fall. We returned to Scarborough and happened upon this hotel, what a find.
The staff were so friendly, they could not do enough for us. The hotel is VERY good.
We were staying self catering at whitby and had a lot of food with us, upon hearing this, the chef cooked/prepared our own food and served it to us in the resteraunt.
I/we have never come across such service before in any hotel we have stayed in.
Would we stay there again, you bet we would. Would we recommend this hotel, without hesitation. This hotel is a credit to the industry.
A very big thank you to all the staff. You saved the day. 10/10.
