5 min walk to shops and 10mins to sea front.

Easy to check in and out of plus free on site parking!

Rooms were spacious and clean - comfy beds!

Breakfast was very good and tasty.

Would recommend for a weekend away...couldnt fault :-)

stayed in room 104 which overlooked the front of the hotel , room decorated very traditional and in keeping with the hotel , got a car parking space in the car park with no problems at all . Our highlight of the stay was once again the meal which we had in Marmalades restaurant , service and food is fantastic and a wide choice to choose from . Breakfast the next day was also excellent . Yes this hotel isn't modern and contemporary , but the style is in keeping with the building , little tired in places but we like it and we would certainly stay again in the future .

Stayed on Saturday night to celebrate sister's birthday. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had all we needed from car-parking to service at the bar and at meals. Very comfortable room and all spotlessly clean.

Just returned from our first visit great rooms, fantastic food, cheap bar, pleasant helpful staff, please do not book suite 103 as we will be returning soon, it has six french doors onto a balcony, with great views, please leave it for me,
Eight family went for my 50th birthday and Kerry and Basil made it very special, If you cant park in the car park then you should not be on the road .
With such luxury suites its hard to believe this is only a three star

Room Tip: The suites are beautiful

We have just spent a weekend at Beiderbecks' Hotel - and had a wonderful weekend. A very central hotel in the town, close to shops and a 'flat walk' to the lift if you choose to go to the seafront. Very helpful staff - great rooms - book first or second floors (as lift only goes to second) if you cant' manage stairs - rooms large with lovely views - and worth any extra charged.
Have stayed at MANY hotels in Scarborough over the years but this is certainly the best one - will certainly return. Thanks to all.

I booked this hotel at a cost of £85.00 which included breakfast. I havent got to breakfast yet but feel i need to make other possible guests aware of the issues found,
The hotel is located in the centre with good car parking facilites but thats about it.
1. Wifi does not work anywhere within hotel.
2. asked for a iron board only to recieve one damaged that wouldnt stand up..Which i had to repair
3. A tv that you cant watch anything but chanel 4 or 5 ( No BBC1 or freeview which i would expect at £85.00 per night )
4. Waited for 20 mins in the restuarant on my own ( no other guests in room) before a waitress saw me a decided to serve me
5. The drink i ordered was flat ( Lager ) and glass was dirty
6. Starter ( Combo ) was ok but the main course ( Fish & Chips ) should really have been advertised as raw chips and a fillet of bones ( The fish wasnt even a fillet ) and i ended up leaving the food. Its a long time since ive had a fish with any bones in yet let alone the full skeleton

So it could get worse in the morning but i wanted to get this down wheil it was still fresh in my mind
