I don't know if i caught a bad day. The girl who served was very nice and polite but the kitchen was in chaos. The floor and ever worktop was piled high with dirty plates and cups yet there were at least 4 staff and it was quiet. I had already ordered a panini for my son as wanted to walk out. We got drinks, sat out side. My son described the Panini as an interesting combination of melted cheese and freezing cold ham. The customer before me was served the worst looking cappuccino I have ever seen... However it has always had good reviews and it is in a great spot... but no not going again....

Good food, delicious Victoria sponge and really warm inside, just what you need when you've been out walking. Looking forward to going back soon...

There is nothing revolutionary on the menu - sandwiches, soup, breakfasts etc. What Marks it out amongst dozens of others is that everything is done well, the staff are consistently cheerful and helpful, prices are reasonable and the location is pretty good too.

Did I also mention excellent value for money?

Watch the world go by with indoor and outdoor seating. Council Car park behind if needed.

Good food, good service, minutes for food to arrive and drinks prepared there and then.

Now one of my favourite haunts on the South side.
