You have to go for a jaunt on the North Bay Railway! It is a lovely little ride and you get great views of the bay, the historic water slide and the outdoor theatre! An absolute must while in Scarborough!

Lovely little railway, which runs round to the next bay. Staff ok, but some of them not overly helpful when asked what time it starts running! Advertised as 10 am in the booklet we saw but starts at 10.30 am - could be seasonal though. I also don't like the fact that you have to walk through the shop to get on and through the shop to get out - even though there is a platform right near to the train the gate was chained shut. Bit sneaky I thought, but I deliberately bought nothing!

A novel way to get to the Aqualife centre with young children. Need supervision as cabins have open doorways and nothing to stop a kamikaze train jumper if they fancied it - you just never know with kids!

We took a one hour ride on the North Yorkshire Steam Railway and it was great. Fantastic scenery all the way.

Lovely little railway with four engines available we really enjoyed the trip up the line and back.
There are some very nice views out over the sea from the train and if you do not feel like walking it's agood way to get to the Sea Life Centre
