We recently visited with our 3 kids under 6 yrs. As we were having drinks as well as the kids having icecream we went inside.
after queuing we were told we cannot sell you the ice creams here you will have to queue outside.
after reading other reviews it looks like the dark haired assistant strikes again.

i asked why they advertise the icecream flavours inside the shop if they wont sell them. 'we don't have time to take the poster up and down between winter and summer, you'll have to queue with everyone else'

customer service definitely lacking, and a concept of trading standards. The frappacinos were also lacking.

Stopped here for lunch after walking from sealife, the menu is varied with a great 2 meals for £12 offer on certain items and daily specials. Even thougg it was pretty busy we found a table easy enough and didnt wait long for our food. Everyone enjoyed thier meals and thought the prices were about right for the size of them. Would visit again if that side of town.

Situated in a ideal location, on north bay, It's a lovely clean place, it should be it is quite new. Food is fair but nothing special. I went there with my wife, 2 kids aged 3 and 7, together with grandad . All the adults ordered chicken burger in a bun, advertised as being accompanied with fresh salad and home made coleslaw, £3.60 We ordered the 2 kids a snack box each which included a piece of fresh fruit, £ 4.95. Orange is the only fruit the children don't like so we asked if they could have a banana or apple, abruptly the young dark haired assistant said " it's oranges today". There was a display of fresh fruit on the counter, so we thought our request could be met. The meals subsequently arrived, the chicken burger meals all devoid of the advertised home made coleslaw, but accompanied by a tiny amount of salad. THREE kids snack boxes arrived, not the two we ordered, all with oranges. I raised the matter of the coleslaw with the same sullen assistant as to where the coleslaw was, she said in a off hand manner, we haven't got any, I said will it be reflected in a reduced bill to which she replied abruptly NO!! On the matter of the 3rd child meal ( for our 2 children) she said again in her terse manner you ordered 3, my wife said that we hadn't why would we order 3 for 2 children. Again in the same abrupt and rude manner she said " you ordered 3." Her attitude was such that it was obvious that we would get no where fast, and not wanting to create a scene in front of the children, we finished our meals and left. Never to return again may I say. So Miss, your attitude has resulted in disgruntled customers, who will never return, and a poor report on trip advisor. I work in customer services so know how things should be done. A customer care course would be money well spent. Date of visit Wed 24 July around 2 to 3 pm. There was a more mature gent serving who was very friendly and jolly, pity we didn't get him.

Staff exceptionally friendly; food and drink very good and a view to die for (once the present building work outside is finished). We visited several times this week and were never disappointed.
