“EXCELLENT VALUE”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2012

stayed nov 2011 and excellent and standards are still excellent one year later.
staff on reception very professional and rooms faultless.
Had a problem with a booked table in the pub, but the manager realised their
mistake and gave us a free bottle of wine with the meal immediately.,
free parking directly opposite 6pm to 9am so nip over at 9 and get a 2 hr ticket for £2.50 so you can have a leisurely excellent breakfast before departing.
for the price and product, cannot be beaten in scarborough....and the sun shone!!

Had a lovely stay here. The staff were fantastic and the rooms the good standard you expect from a Premier Inn. We had no problems parking as we used the Palm Court Hotel car park which is on the other side of the road. We only used the hotel in the evenings so parking was mainly free. Great mid week winter break close to the seaside and town.

This beats the Travelodge hands down on all levels. Great location yet rooms are quiet for such a busy part of town. Easy 5 minute walk from railway station. Friendly staff on reception and restuarant. Impeccably well maintained rooms and corridors. Even more enjoyable when you can track down a £29 room.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room i.e. not overlooking the road out front.

A relative small relaxing seaside resort, not recommended for pepple with reduced mobility as the streets are rather steep. A vintage looking town with steep cobbled, narrow streets. Scarborough boast Some lovely restaurants(most are expensive) that are open al year round. Highly recommend the "Fish Cafe" (a mitchellin star) & ASK restaurants, no faults found with the food or friendly service, just a bit pricey. Lots to do & see & close to famous Whitby. Only been for long weekends out of season, but would definately take the grandchildren for a week or so.
Scarborough still has he lovely beach hut properties,Oriental Gardens around the lake & battlegrounds( a must for he children to visit in season).
Love Scarborough for a relaxing break with good walks and beautiful views across the bays.

Stayed here for two nights at a pretty cheap rate - think it was about £29 a night. The room was spacious with a comfy bed, good tv, lovely clean bathroom, air con. Can't fault it at all. No noise from outside or light in the mornings. Just a few mins from the sea front and town centre. There are two car parks opposite the hotel. I advise the short stay one. You can park for free after 6pm until 9am and any additional money you put in before 6pm carries over to the next day so we had until 9.30am which was perfect.
Used Brewers Fayre pub just for a drink one evening - quite pricey although the food looked pretty cheap.
Staff all very friendly.
Highly recommend - will use again if ever in Scarborough again!

the hotel is just what you expect of the premier chain with good rooms and pleasant staff. the hotel is in a great location on the edge of the town centre and less than a minute to the lift to the south beach. the brunswick shopping centre is virtually next door. great location great stay.
