“Excellent location”

We stayed here (26th Oct - 29th Oct) have stayed here before. It's a lovely Premier Inn in the perfect position. Only a short walk to the sea front. Very clean, friendly staff, very comfortable stay. The only problems we encountered was the noise outside the hotel on saturday night! (was in one of the rooms on the front, so maybe ask for one round the back) people swearing, shouting till about 3am! Didn't get much sleep. Parking can be tricky fortunately we managed to get a space in the Palm Court hotel car park but parked in the multi-storey when we couldn't. The staff are brilliant, very friendly although I feel the restaurant is very under staffed at breakfast. Had to wait for a table every morning even though there were empty tables they had dirty plates on them still because staff couldn't clear them and try and seat people at the same time, they also ran out of plates every morning. But I would recommend it for short stays. It's a very family orientated hotel.

Room Tip: We stayed on the front ground floor last year and the 3rd floor on the front this year, was a bit qu...

This is great hotel to stop at with warm friendly staff and great value for money but as there is no car park but there is 2 near by, but the best value we found is if you are stopping for a week you can buy a weekly pass from the tourist information in the Brunswick shopping centre for £20 like we did as we where stopping from Monday-Friday.
This car park we used is in the spa underground car park which is about 10-15 minutes away and is safe and is locked up at night.
The best thing about stopping hear is it close to the city centre as the main shopping street is just around the corner and is safe i hope this was usefull

Room Tip: breakfast is great value

Used this Premier inn whilst working in Scarborough, as always with a premier, clean, no frills and ideally located for all amenities. Would recommend this hotel rather than the very dated large hotels on the sea front.

Just five minutes walk from the train station and the beach and two minutes walk to the main shopping street this could not be in a better location.Car parking is available literally 'over the road' at a cost of £10 p/day BUT if you are prepared to move your car or better still if you are using it throughout the day - you can get 3 hours free parking on the beach front (upto 6.00pm Oct-Mar) and free overnight parking after 6.00pm directly opposite the hotel (subject to getting a space of course). With a Brewers Fayre attached offering FANTASTIC value and choice ( never come across so many friendly and helpful staff ) and numerous other eateries and bars within a five minute walk who could ask for more. It is also a great base to explore Filey & Briddlington etc.
We paid £98 for a two night stay 14/15 October - money well spent - I'm sure you will agree.!!

Room Tip: We had room 301 on the top floor front - you could hear a little traffic noise at times BUT I would...

I stayed for two nights in October 2012 and found the hotel to be of the usual Premier inn standard, clean with bright airy rooms. The location was central to everything you would want to see in Scarborough and has a large busy bar underneath which doubled as the breakfast and evening meal room. I will definitely be staying there again. The staff were friendly and efficient too.

We stayed here the first week of October and found it to the usual standard of Premier Inn. Clean, comfortable and very helpful staff. Don't stay if you want outstanding views!! but definately stay for good clean value. We were worried about parking but on both nights we were very lucky and were able to get a space in the carpark across the road for free from 6pm until 9am in the morning. Found the restaurant very helpful, on our first morning asked for soya milk and it was waiting on the 2nd morning for us - nice touch. Over all very good and will be back!

We stayed for 5 nights Sunday to Friday, all areas of the hotel were very clean and well maintained. The bedroom was well presented, very clean and serviced to a high standard daily. Its a great location to access the Town or beach, the only problem is it does not have its own car park, but there is plenty of car parking options nearby . The attached restaurant was as expected with good value food all day, although some alcoholic drinks are a little expensive.
