Description: Eat Me Cafe sits quietly in a backstreet of Scarborough behind the world-famous Stephen Joseph Theatre. We offer a diverse multicultural menu, serving hand-packed burgers, Japanese Ramen, Shetland Pie, Thai Curries.... And much much more. 95% Of our food is made in-house from scratch. Our wide range of cakes changes daily. We serve our own much loved blend of coffee, fair trade certified and expertly roasted by The Heavenly Coffee Company and this can't be found anywhere else. All our food is cooked to order, and at busy times there may be a delay. Our chips are skin on for goodness and seasoned with Eat Me's own blend seasoning. We only use Butter on our breads and please be aware that Our Kitchen contains nuts, both kinds. If you have special dietary requirements please let us know and we will try to accommodate. We always have dairy free butter alternatives and soya milk on request, as well as Gluten Free bread for those sandwich requirements. Also, during the day when busy you may be asked to share a table, you never know who you might meet. We love Yorkshire and Scarborough and were so proud to receive The Good Food Guide Cafe of the Year 2014 award and be in the guide again for 2015. We embrace our quirkiness, bringing a smile to our customers faces from the moment they walk in! Finally if you are in a rush for the theatre, the train or collecting the kids please let us know, we will do all we humanly can!

This cafe is spectacular. Tried here about 6 weeks ago and have been back loads of times. Its accross from the train station on a side street. I would rather go here than bettys of harrogate. The food is very very well presented they usually have a speciality pie or roast of the day. The cheeseburgers are served on a wooden board with salad and coleslaw with a portion of chips in a little silver bucket the schhescake is on fresh toated bread of your choice.
The first time I visited i ordered a pot of tea which came with tea cosy suger rock in a snap jar and a cute little milk bottle. This place is absolutely fabulous you must must try it and you will be back.
Its also opened on an evening Thursday to saturday and has little candles and fairy lights. I got a three course meal for £13.50 and it was delicious I am talking about the quality of Jeremys green Room Copper Horse but half the price and fantastic service.
Its my new favourite place. I have told lots of people and i bet it wont be long before you cant get in unless you book. Hope to fit in a visit this week. The cheescake is divine!

This is an modern little cafe, which is open during the day for amazing cafe food. On a Thursday to Saturday night they do a special evening menu, which changes weekly. The food is amazing and always great portion size. Martin speciality is Thai food, which is fantastic. On an evening it is bring your own booze which make it a reasonable night out.

It is a must for good food
