Went to this beautiful hotel for a break with my parents. Perfect place to go to get away from things and relax. The staff couldn't be better, very professional yet make you feel at home at the same time. The room was great and we were lucky enough to get a tour of the newly refurbished rooms which are beautiful (10 out of 10 for the interior designer who has also done a great job of the bar!), will definitely be going back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Even saw some wildlife in the grounds - hard to believe you're so close to Scarborough town centre.

Just returned from a three day break at Wrea Head Hall. We had a wonderful time, the room & accommodation were excellent, & the food was excellent. All the staff are friendly & could not have been more helpful. This was our second stay & we will definitely return.

There was a group of us staying for the weekend. The staff could not have been more helpful. Food and rooms were excellent. Just wish the weather had been better!!
The grounds would be nice to sit in in the summer.
The new owners are obviously committed to the refurbishment of the whole hotel!

Visted this gorgeous hotel on several occassions and will continue to go. The rooms are spacious, relaxing and the perfect place to take time out. The food is excellent, staff are freindly and very helpful. The grounds are well kept and clean.
Will definitely return.

Once again my partner and I stayed at Wrea Head Hall weekend of 15th 16th March. A lot is taking place within the hotel regarding refurbishment to several of the bedrooms, and I must say that they are very plush and up market a credit to the guys that own it.
As expected the standard of the food and service was first class. We stayed in one of the older bedrooms but it was adequately furnished and spotless.
Even though there is work in progress it did not make our stay any the less enjoyable, again, a credit to all the hard working staff . We are looking forward to returning to the hotel and staying hopefully in one of the refurbished rooms.

Room Tip: Ask to have a refurbished room for no other reason than to pamper yourself !

Wrea Head Hall is a beautiful old house with a long sweeping drive. We stayed here as a romantic anniversary treat and used it as a base to do a little walking (there's some excellent walking in the area). We had room 1 at the front of the house which is furnished with the largest 4 poster you have ever seen, and a free standing bath perfect for enjoying a glass of bubbly. Dinner was excellent, but most of all we were made to feel so very welcome. We we utterly spoilt! I will definately be coming back, thank you.

Room Tip: Room 1 with the large four poster

Went on a one night break midweek with a friend had been there before under different ownership
The hotel is under renovation but will look very nice when finished.our room was clean but even though refurbished still lacked the finer points even so much better than before...staff were excellent and very nice to us...food at the evening meal was very nice and variety good there should have been louder music as you could hear all the guests conversations after our meal we sat by a proper log fire it was cosy then breakfast was also good plenty of choice a really good nights stay we shall return when the work in progress is completed
