me and my partner stayed in scarborough for 2 nights recentley and visited this restraunt on the 2nd night. we booked a table and were seated more or less as soon as we arrived. the decor is plain and modern. the staff were very attentive throughout our meal. we were brought poppadoms and a pickle tray as soon as we werer seated. then the manager came over and took our order. we both had onion bhajis to start which were fresh and tasty. i had the lamb saag (on the managers recommendation) which was full of flavour, nicely spicy and had lots of meat. my partner had the lamb balti which also tasty and the lamb was really tender and not at all fatty. we also had chips and a garlic naan bread which were both average and acceptable. at the end of the meal the waiter brought out a complimentary brandy for my partner and baileys type liquer for me which we thought was a nice touch. the meal cost approximatley £30 and we had also had 2 bottles of beer and a soft drink. we were happy to pay and thought it was good value. we would visit again if in the area. the restraunt was rather busy but not full at 9pm on a saturday so booking would probably be worth while
