We went bank holiday Monday for a stroll along the north bay and a something to eat. We thought as we were already there to try blue crush.

The food was tasty, but seriously not enough for the price we paid. Our waitress seemed a bit out of her depth, either that or no social skills.

The couple that we were with told me that they paid £4.20 for a coca cola!!!!! Whhhhaaaaattttt?????? I hope they were joking.

I'm a bit gutted really because the food was tasty. But more salad than anything else.
Give it a try I'm sure you will enjoy it. Just don't go hungry or with a poor bank balance.

Many thanks for your review, all reviews are very much appreciated.
I would just like to answer your question you raised with the price of a coke, it's £2.10 for a large glass therefore your friend must have purchased 2 drinks.
Also in response to the waitress - please take into consideration that we served 464 meals between the hours of 9am and 5pm not forgetting customers that were just drinking etc so the waitress will have been extremely busy and thus friendly but not able to spend a lot of time chatting with customers on this extremely bank holiday Monday.
Many thanks

During our recent stay at The Sands we took advantage of the proximity of this bar, the wind almost blew us in!! We found the staff friendly, the food well presented and a good atmosphere (although it was out of season). My only critism was that if the door has to be locked, due to the force of the wind, that a member of staff be allocated to the opening and closing not allowing customers to interrupt their meals to do so!

Thank Barbara K

Called at Blue crush for a bite to eat and a coffee, this was really a lovely venue and was very clean and well maintained with polite and friendlyt staff however we ordered breakfast and was a little disapointed as it was slightly on the cold side and a bit greasy. Never the less it hasnt really put us off eating here just next time i think we'll try a sandwich instead.
