Owner description: The Radway opened in 1928 and was planned to operate primarily as a theatre. As a live theatre it quickly failed and was soon altered to better accommodate cinema use.Whilst the building enjoyed a very thorough refurbishment in 1999 care was taken to do this as sympathetically as possible in order to retain its early 30’s charm.Digital Projection, 3D and Sound was recently been added.

Very friendly staff and very comfortable little cinema. Lovely balcony with tables for your tea or coffee. Worth paying the extra pound to go upstairs. But downstairs just as comfortable with comfortable seats.

“Fantastic Night Out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2013

What a fantastic little cinema ! From the time you walk in and are greeted at the desk, to the helpful staff all around. we choose to go upstairs to the balcony and politely told that we could take ours tea etc in with us. You are shown to your seats and for every 2 seats you even get a small table , fantastic.
The place has all the old charm of the building and was a pleasure to visit after visits to a "multiplex" cinema

“Blast From The Past - Lovely Little Cinema”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2013

Great little Cinema, clean and tidy with friendly staff, from the intimate seats and tables on the first floor where you can have coffee, to the velour seating in the stalls on the ground floor. A great retro experience for those wishing to experience what the Cinema used to be like.
