Went for a light lunch. Had the broccoli and stilton soup which was delicious. However, bearing mind this is first and foremost a pub, as with so many places today it seems to lack a landlord. Or perhaps the owners were busy in the actual drinking bit of the pub. There were several young members of staff who were quite quick to serve us and were polite but we might as well have gone to a local coffee bar or restaurant. I love a pub atmosphere and a bit of banter but we didn't get any of that. To be fair, it was lunchtime and they were busy. Would we go back? Possibly.
