“Easy to find, quiet & friendly.”
Reviewed April 18, 2013

Stopped here for one night. Desk staff were very friendly, explained everything about their facilities and how to access the local town. The Sainsbury's supermarket is right opposite so if you've forgotten anything, need snacks, breakfast, lunch etc... then it's all at your door.
Room was clean, bed sturdy and firm unlike Travelodge sponge mattresses. Bathroom clean and the shower delivered powerful piping hot water.
A couple of minor observations.
Parking was a little challenging having arrived after 9pm, I found that commercial vehicles had taken up more than one space in many instances with a large cleaning lorry straddling 4 spaces.
I stayed in a room on the 1st Floor but it meant travelling up and down other small stairs to reach it, had I been carrying suitcases it would have been a little more challenging to get to.
For the money, and I appreciate the rates fluctuate, it was good.

We had a two night stay at this great hotel. We had planned a trip into London and a day out at Legoland with our three children so we booked a Family Room; it had a ‘King-size’ double bed, plus 2 single beds, and we brought our own ‘Ready-Bed’ for the third child. There was plenty of space in the room and the ‘Ready-Bed’ fitted in nicely. The beds were comfy, and the room was very clean. Breakfast was nice & fresh and great value for money as children eat for free when you buy an adult breakfast.

The hotel has a restaurant attached to it and we ate there on one evening; the food was nice and the service was good to start with but as the restaurant be came busier the service became a bit slow and we were left waiting for our puddings for a while, which is not good when you are trying to occupy excited 6-year-old twins.

The hotel is situated about 15 minutes drive from Legoland, and is ideally situated for a visit there.

We used the train to get into London, the station was about 15 minutes walk from the hotel, and the train took about 20 minutes to get to Paddington. 2 adult and 3 children’s day returns including tube tickets cost £26

As mentioned in other reviews, there is a large Sainsbury’s next door which was great for buying sandwiches for our days out.

Overall, a great experience and we would recommend it.

This is our 3rd time at this hotel and we love it and always go back! friendly staff, great breakfast and fab rooms ideal for a family of 4 and perfectly situated for legoland. We went to The harry potter tour on the way down and it took us 30 mins to get from there to the hotel and then we did legoland the next day. Always happy to go back.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at this wonderful hotel. We were on a trip to Legoland with our 2 kids and stayed in a family room - 2 single beds and a super kingside bed. Beds super comfy, room spotlessly clean, no outside noise and very modern. Breakfast was lovely & fresh and great value for money as kids eat free.
Massive Sainsburys next door too is a bonus.
Train is only few minutes away by taxi (£4) and we took a taxi to Legoland (£12 one way).
Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends going to Legoland.. Great value and staff VERY friendly!!

I stay in Premier Inn's every week for my work and this is the best I have ever stayed in. The staff are friendly and helpful, the restaurant and food is 5*. Being a lone female I felt very safe and secure as the restaurant is on site rather than a pub next door and security cards are needed to get to lifts/rooms etc.. Well done to all at Slough :)

Well located for Legoland - just 15 minutes away. The hotel was
clean, very comfortable and the bed huge. It was family orientated and the breakfast very good. Kids eat free. The car park was free too.

This was our second time of staying here and chosen due to its close proximity to Legoland. We stayed for two nights in a family room. Very clean rooms and the bed was huge and very comfy plus 2 single put up beds for the kids. All staff were very friendly especially the gentleman who checked us in. Hotel overall has a lovely feel and is full of families who have ventured to Legoland.

We also went into London. Walked to the train station which took 17 minutes with the children and train was 22 mins into London ! We paid £26 for 4 of us for the train and all tubes and buses in London which I thought was a good deal.

I do agree with a previous poster about the restaurant. You wait a long time for your meals and poor staff looked rushed off their feet. Was not too much of a problem for us as kids older but felt so sorry for all the families around us with little ones. We were in the restaurant a full 3 hours.

We will definitely return in the future but will eat elsewhere. Sainsburys next door have a cafe that is open till 8pm most nights.
