Stayed for 3 nights..Log cabin was excellent clean and very comfortable with kettle, toaster ,microwave and fridge perfect was making a light snack and cuppa. Outside had a heated patio area and an excellent play area for children, it was lovely to sit out in the evening and have a glass of wine and a chat with fellow residents. We were held up in traffic and were late arriving not a problem arrived and were offered milk etc from Pam, her and Graham are 2 of the most welcoming hosts we have ever had the pleasure to meet advised us on where to get something to eat and where the local shops were and directions given about local transport services. Excellent location for visiting tourist attractions in London and of course Legoland . Brilliant location and price and would recommend to all you wont be disappointed

Room Tip: Log cabins are a must with microwave kettle toaster and fridge

Stayed 4 nights for a course at CA (Computer Assosiates) which is only a couple of miles away. Very nice room in main house and very nice owners. Couple of restaurants and several takeaways within easy walking distance. Also have secure parking. No breakfast but Toby Inn and Harvester pub nearby but if going to CA they have excellent restaurant on site.

Room Tip: I stayed in main house but Log cabins looked really nice and I would stay in one next time cos away...

I booked last minute on late rooms and was impressed by the reviews and the price was very good. I don't question the reviews but I was expecting something different to what I got - and what I got was the "late rooms room" (solo male traveller - need I say more). Partly my fault as I should have read the room detail so I can't complain. Certainly the hosts were friendly and the room was comfortable and clean though small and a little tired; therefore I can only rate as average. That said if you book here I recommend that you contact the owners to ensure that you get either one of the log cabins or I believe there are refurbished en-suite doubles in the main house. If you do, I am sure you will be pleased.

Room Tip: Ensure that have one of the log cabins or a refurbished double with en-suite in the main house. NOT...

I have had the pleasure of staying at The White House twice on business trips - once in the main house and once in one of the cabins. Both are perfect for short stays - easy access, great facilities, warm and comfortable beds and, further, excellent value. Pam and Graham are 2 of the friendliest and most helpful people I've ever met. Have already booked up for my next trip!

We stayed in one of the log cabins which was warm, clean, bright and well equipped.
We had a very warm welcome from Pam on arrival who noticed we were rather damp following a day at Thorpe Park. Our clothes were whisked away to be tumble dried and returned first thing next morning. She was attentive and ready to recommend local places to eat. We had already sorted out where to go that evening but she ensured we knew the way.
Parking is secure and the whole place has a feelgood factor - I wouldn't hesitate in staying here again.

We've just come home from a most enjoyable stay here. We stayed in one of the log cabins. It was cosy, clean and well equipped! We have a 2 and a half year old daughter who absolutely loved the park which is in the back garden. She was able to safely play there as it is completely enclosed. Even the car was well protected by an electrically operated gate. The log cabin itself was very warm and the beds were very comfortable. There is a Toby carvery and corner shop within walking distance and it suited us perfectly for travelling to Legoland. Thank you Graham and Pam.x
