Oh dear, what was once a great restaurant has in a few weeks, gone down hill at a very fast rate. The reason is that the old chef has left and been replaced by a far inferior chef. The food we had on Friday was tasteless and just plain dreadful. The waiting time for the food was far to long as the chef could not keep up with the orders. I ordered the beef rendang curry which was vile and the beef very, very tough. When I asked the waitress why the food was so terrible she simply said "old chef gone, now we have new chef". All in all a waste of £40.00 and we will never return.

Thought we'd try this place having found it online. Surprised by its location seemingly in the middle of houses and right next to a convinience store...but just lovely.

Most main dishes ave. £6-7. Service was great and all the food was delicious.

Went for lunch and enjoyed the lunch menu which was even cheaper and included rice etc.

We heard about this place from a friend and thought we'd try it out. Whilst its location is not central it is well worth visiting. Pleasant decor and attentive staff (admittedly we were the only folk eating in) you understood he food on offer.
We had one of the sharing starter selections - mango salad delisss, prawn toast best ever -sweet tooth honey ribs lovely, rolls different - well presented and tasty
Soft shell crabs next and wow! Better than any I have had in London highly recommend
Randan, assimo, rice, flat bread
Decent portions and very tasty
We plan to return and have a Thai night - definitely recommend

I thought this restaurant couldn't possibly live up to the reviews posted here. I'm delighted to say that it most definately does. I couldn't fault the food or the service. What a find!

As other reviewers have commented, this restaurant is in an unpreposessing parade of shops, but do not let that put you off - the food is great and good value with some unusual dishes and the decor is pleasantly understated with linen table cloths and a semi-open kitchen. I only discovered it when checking for reviews for the new Chinese Restaurant in the building previously occupied by Pizza Hut. The charming proprieter (from Penang) went through the menu with us and chatted and it seems the location is because renting premises in town costs £75,000 a year - which explains why the few restaurants in WGC are mostly members of chains (including the new Chinese), something I have often bemoaned. Try the Mongolian lettuce wrap starter and Tamarind King Prawn Main - delicious. And easy parking too.
