We saw this offer on Group on and thought that this would be a really good deal! It was a good deal - we got bread with dips, starters and 4 main tapas dishes. We were told we could choose other dishes from the main menu at £2.50 each off the tapas side. We chose to dishes. We gave the staff the numbers of 23 and 37 which we though would be helpful. When the food started to arrive we were confused as to what everything was as the menu was in Lebenese. When we asked the Waiter about certain dish he said `something with lamb`. I thought that this was quite unproffessional and the staff might try to explain what the dishes were in english when they bought them to the table.
One of the dishes that arrived was seemed quite big for a tapas meal and we questioned him about it and he said `the gentleman ordered it`. Once our bill came it was found that it was a Main meal at £9.50. I explaned to the waiter that we didnt order a main meal as we came for the tapas - why would we order 6 tapas dishes and a main meal between 2 people? He tried to tell us we ordered dish 47 and not 37. This was completely wrong and he even had scribbles on his notepad where it looked like he has crossed it out. He continued to argue with us which i thought was wrong. We did eat the meal so we were willing to pay for it but it was his mistake. We were made to feel really uncomfortabl after paying for the bill, even feeling like they were about to stop and question us to see if we has paid.
We will deffinatly not be visiting here again. Luckily it will not put us off using Group On vouchers because we have had such god experiences in the past.

We went to the Mezza Club on a Groupon voucher on a Friday evening. The food was lovely, with 4 starters - 2 dips with bread, a tabbouleh salad and stuffed vine leaves and 4 hot dishes - meatballs, chicken wings, a minced lamb in breadcrumbs dish and a lovely light pastry dish. We also had a baklava for dessert and great Lebanese coffee. Service was very attentive and drinks prices were very reasonable. The only negative was that we tried to book for 7pm but were asked to come at 6.30 when the restaurant was empty, which was a bit offputting. However I can understand that, as we got the food so cheap on the Groupon, the owners would want to make bookings when the restaurant is quiet to try to encourage others to come in. Overall an excellent meal, just the kind of food we enjoy, and I would encourage others to go along.

We both love Lebanese food and this is a very good example of its kind. We went on a Tuesday evening when the atmosphere was quiet and laid back with lovely music. Fridays and Saturdays are clearly aimed at a different market. The welcome, food and service was excellent. We will be back.

Food was lovely, aside from meatballs. Really liked the cheese an spinich pastries. The belly dancing made the whole evening a little bit different. Lebanese food is an underappreciated cuisine more people should try and this one seems the best one in manchester.
