Have been a visitor here for many years. Beautiful grounds to stroll in and a nice house with plenty of history. If you want a good friendly lunch walk over the gate-style down through the fields to the "Swan With Two Nicks". Excellent place for a day out.

Did not think this was the best National Trust property, but we did enjoy it.

The house is typical NT, but never the less enjoyable. The grounds are best a a dry day. The flower garden was very good, the grounds to the front of the house have deers roaming in them. So if you are happy to share your picknic with them, is will add to the day.

We would go back, but in all honesty I would visit other NT properties first.

Cracking day out here, loads to see and do, including deer in the grounds, lovely walks, a splendid garden, cracking restaurant and one of the best house tours we've been on. Its a must see, and personally I liked it much more than Chatsworth.

There is something about Dunham Massey that keeps us going back when you go then i'm sure you will feel the same, visit the hall and for a little extra the wonderfull gardens and lake, it is part of the national park so if you're a member parking and the entrance to the hall is free.
