Friendly reception, lovely room overlooking golf course and hills and really good food - especially enjoyed the kippers for breakfast.

Easy walks on tap, skirting the golf course, adjacent to the Dee - which helps in burning off some the calories !

A really well run family owned hotel: will definitely be back.

A lovely setting but we were in the outside wooden accommodcation. We called it the shed.

Poor size, past its sell by date in furnishings and cold. The main house reminded us of a residential home. The upside of the 3 day visit was the food which was unpretentious quaility locally sourced produce cooked to perfection.

The staff made our stay bearable and the bar was well stocked and friendly.

Go there every night to eat but stay elsewhere!

Room Tip: The suite in the hotel has a sitting room but you lose your bath!

Forced to stay here due to lack of affordable hotels in Aberdeen, glad I was. Small hotel, warm and comfortable rooms . Staff very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Scottish breakfast is a must, will keep you going all day. Restaurant very good, evening meal could not be faulted, steak was rare as ordered and top class. Within easy reach of Aberdeen
Hotel owners should visit here and learn about customer service
Well done Glen Lui

We stayed in a "Pine Terrace" room which is in a separate building at the rear of the hotel. Nevertheless it was very comfortable and quiet and only a very short stroll back into the hotel. We had one evening meal in the hotel and which I really enjoyed and breakfast choice and quality was very good. It appears to be a family run hotel and service and friendliness were exceptional.

Room Tip: By choosing a "Pine Terrace" room you can park your car close to your room
