Having found the address, we went downstairs into an atmospheric cellar, cosily decked out to give a rustic, Italian atmosphere.
The waitress was delightful, smiley & helpful guiding us through the menu.
My mussels with garlic & white wine had a real kick in the sauce - possibly chili, which made a lovely starter with garlic bread.
The main course of tuscany sausage with beans in a thick, tomato - based broth was a delight & reminded me of similar cassoulets we've had in France. Delicious & very filling.
We had a nice bottle of house red to accompany our meal & were totally satisfied with our experience.
We will visit again.
