Description: Come and try the new taste of Bedford with traditional Vietnamese food, an affordable and healthy way of eating. Vietnamese food is commonly ranked among one of the world's most healthiest cuisines. Usage of many diverse vegetables and herbs coupled with fresh ingredients and seafood, creating dishes like the seafood hot pot, Vietnamese pancakes, fresh rice paper crystal rolls, a range of noodle soups and a variety of spicy seafood dishes in a Vietnamese style. Family run business. Authentic Vietnamese food. Absolutely tasty food and an experience not to be missed out. We have our menu throughout the day and also the lunch menu between 12pm-2pm. We have the facilities for discos, parties and karaoke. We also deliver within MK40, MK41, MK42.

I've never tried authentic Vietnamese food before so I went with a friend to this place and was pleasantly surprised to have such a lovely place in walking distance of home. I recommend trying the Special Vietnamese Pancake which is best enjoyed using your hands to stuff and roll a lettuce leaf and dipped in the yummiest sauce ever. Subtle flavors that are worth every bite. The chef came out to chat with us and was so welcoming. All food tasted amazing and I could tell was made from fresh ingredients. Will be recommending it to friends.

After looking for something a little different, we decided to try my first taste of Vietnamese cuisine at Que Huong, which turned out to be an excellent decision. The narrow frontage of the restaurant provides no hint of the large size of its interior, which should have no trouble accommodating the largest of dining groups.

The service was extremely welcoming and friendly, with the staff making very helpful menu suggestions when we explained this was our first experience of Vietnamese. All drinks and food arrived promptly and freshly cooked, with the crystal rolls, crispy noodles and beef pho being particularly fantastic. Portion sizes are impressive, so you certainly won't be left unsatisfied.

All-in-all we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the only fault I could find was that such a large space felt a little empty when we visited for a lunch-time, but that will hopefully change as more people discover Que Huong.

The food tasted great and the service was excellent. The portions were big so I would say its good value for the price paid. Would definitely go again.

I used to live in Hackney and really got into Vietnamese food there. It's not as fiery as Thai, but is lighter and more subtle than Chinese. This is a brilliant restaurant for the diversity and quality of food, and true value for money. The two chefs are brothers. They came over to the UK as Vietnamese boat people, and had a restaurant in Hackney before setting up in Bedford. Their grown up children run front of house. There are lots of safe, tasty, inexpensive options like noodles soups and stir fries, and rice with pork. The mid-week lunch deal at £6.50 is the best bargain in town. They also do special dishes, such as baked whole sea-bass which comes with loads of lovely herbs. If you're in a group of 3 or more, it's really worth ordering one of the stock-pot dishes. You get a huge pot of fresh, tasty home-made broth bubbling on the table, and 2 massive and beautiful platters, one of Vietnamese greens and noodles and the second of either fish or meat. You cook them in the stock at the table. It's really delicious, and lots of fun. Drinks are reasonably priced. The only (small) criticism is that the wine list is pretty basic, if you're at all into your wine or are going for a bit of a celebration. But they were happy to let us bring our own, and charged a very reasonable corkage. This place is a real gem.
