Review of Oasis Beach Pool

Myself and my family had a really nice time here, very good value for money.
My only problem was the lack of family changing cubicles. This is not helped with the fact that groups of older children were using them meaning having to stand while wet with young children. One be nice if they could put up signs saying the family cubicles are for families only and also turn some of the single cubicles into family ones. Even though the pool was very good if we go again I will be dreading getting changed.

We went expecting it to be busy as it's the Easter holidays! Got a money off coupon in the paper, so good value! Lots of fun, glad we wore flipflops as floor not so clean. Staff all friendly and helpful, lifeguards alert and paying attention (unlike a lot of other pools), little one had a fantastic time and we will be going again! Just clean up a bit and it would be great! And yes, we did have to wait for the showers, but again, it's not like this is a unique problem to this pool. Go expecting it to be busy and to have to wait for the showers and you may be suprised!

Having read the reviews for AquaSplash in Hemel and deciding not to go, this was the next nearest option. Despite the reviews - and yes, the showers are in a ridiculous place, and yes, it is way too busy and also very small, it was good fun for 2 hours or so.

The flames are really good - edgy and fast - I also clocked the fastest times on both - 6.13 secs on The Flume of Doom. :)

My 8 year old had lots of fun and there is enough to keep kids more than amused.

Not sure about the food - which following on from something active like swimming and all the jumping around - seems mortally wrong with dishes full of chips, sausages and fatty foods. Silly!

Anyway - worth the trek especially as I saw them netting rubbish out of AquaSplash in Hemel Hempstead - which incidentally is a total embarrassment - the whole Leisure World Complex.

Thumbs up. But it is small.

Have been here many times and today didn't disappoint either. Great value for 1 adult and 3 children. We spent a couple of hours splashing through the rapids, whizzing down the slides and enjoying the waves which happen every half an hour. The water is always a great temperature. After swimming you can enjoy food in the restaurant. Our favourite are the curly fries! A great day family day out.

We fancied a day trip to a pool with a difference, so checked the Internet for something special. From the website this looked amazing and we were pleased when we noticed a 'Special Offer' for families in March.
The kids were excited when they realised the pool is housed in a giant triangle, and the staff at the door couldn't have been more helpful! We quickly changed and... disappointment it was tiny! Well, not tiny exactly but a lot smaller than we had anticipated from the website.
There is nowhere to actually swim here, but there are a couple of sections where you can be pushed along by a current and sit in bubbles. There are two jacuzzi type pools but these were packed, and a smaller shallow pool for toddlers (also packed). The two flumes were ok but not particularly note worthy, and the outdoor pool was shut until summer, which I'm sure would help with the congestion inside.
All in all we enjoyed it, and might go again in the summer months when maybe it wouldn't be quite so crowded. I just expected it to be bigger and not quite such a squash.
