Had to be near Carlisle. Hotel has easy access off M6 with good free parking available. City centre only 15minutes walk. Friendly and very helpfull staff on arrival. Hotel was clean and tidy and well maintained and although close to main road did not encounter traffic noise. Good breakfast at adjoining Brewers Fayre with good quick service. Overall a very comfortable stay and good value for money.

I stayed at the hotel for one night in Novemeber as I was working up there, I wasn't expecting much when I saw that the company had booked a Premier Inn for us but I was pleasantly surprised. My colleague and I were greeted by extremely friendly staff who expalined everything and gave a very warm welcome on an otherwise dreary evening. The room was good, if a little on the cold side but very comfortable. We had dinner at the attached pub which was okay but the breakfast, that should have a review of its own. It was very good, and you can order as much as you'd like depending on how greedy you feel that day.
Overall, good, if I was to be picky about the room though I didn't like that the plug sockets available are the ones on the dressing table, there are none by the side of the bed, might seem silly but I had things that I needed to use and charge.

As a business user i use Premier Inn quite a lot because my company has a business account with them.
This premier Inn does put the other one in Carlisle to shame, very clean, well maintained and friendly staff.
The Brewersfayre where the food is served is a little dissapointing - it was 'ok' but a bit blank and no atmosphere, its difficultto say accurately but there was something missing almost like they were taking their custom / trade for granted and making no effort - shame really

Room Tip: All the same high quality - don't worry, just book and relax

A standard Premier Inn, nice enough, but unlike most of their competitors, they don't serve cask beer. I thought Whitbread originated from a brewery company, but to only offer Boddingtons or Carling is a bit poor nowadays. No doubt there were lots of different lagers.

Stayed for 1 night great value hotel, only paid £39 for twin room with double bed and single bed in. staff were really helpful. Rooms spotlessly clean. Great location only £4 into town in taxi. Town centre was good for shopping and the brewers fayre attached to the hotel was really convenient for food and drinks without going too far. Would definitely go back.

I had a lovely warm greeting from the Receptionist, and all the staff were really good. The room was very clean, if a little chilly, but I get the impression that Premier Inn pay attention to being very clean, which to me leaves things slightly clinical.
Good for business trips and travelling solo, but not a romantic feel.

WiFi worked OK, and the free 30mins was enough. I met friends in the adjoining Brewers Fayre for dinner, which was OK (not more than that). Breakfast was excellent, including the ladies who assisted with everything. Coffee was the Costa type, and was a good start to my day.

I am currently sat in room 26 of this hotel writing this review having stayed overnight whilst on business.
The room is extremely clean, modern and tidy. My room a triple is extremely nice and all staff I have met are friendly.
Other reviewers comment on the great breakfast and they are not wrong.
I can recommend this hotel.
