Stayed recently at the hallmark Carlisle , down stairs in the hotel is beautifully decorated , the food is lovely and staff well they make the hotel all so friendly especially the girls in the restaurant cannot do enough for you . Breakfast is a buffet style which is also very nice.
The room well I upgraded to the executive suite couldn't tell you if this was worthwhile as I didn't see any standard rooms to compare too . I wouldn't of called our room executive , the bathroom was quite outdated the room was ok wouldn't say it's the best room I've ever had but basic really comfortable bed was the best thing in there.
We stayed for a long weekend the only things around are a few bars and places to eat around apart from that not much else really to do so we went out for day and cane into the hotel bar late evening.
Overall it's a nice place to have an overnight stay and the staff are so nice they made the stay very pleasant for us.
