Decided to use our nectar points for meal out at Strada. Restaurant is always busy and this weekend was no different. Sadly this meant we waited 45minutes for our starter, which suddenly turned up after we complained about the wait. There was no apology for the delay until after we moaned and the couple next to us said the same. Once starter arrived, it was great. Soup was delicious and my prawns were sweet and tasty, perfectly cooked. Another long wait and complaint brought our mains out. Risotto was lovely, far better than Ask, Prezzo or Zizzi. Our second complaint resulted in an offer for complimentary drinks which went some way to making amends but disappointed we had to make a fuss before getting an apology. Good customer service would have been to pre empt this. Would also say tables too small, bearing in mind we had a dish each, jug of water and bottle of wine which barely fitted on table. Also it's not the most intimate of restaurants, acoustics poor so lots of noise and not cosy atmosphere. So good food but poor service.
