Stayed here for my mums birthday as we were going to the zoo the next day. It is a modern Premier Inn with everything you’d expect. Staff on reception were friendly. Our room was at the end of a long corridor and it was facing the road but it was very quiet. Breakfast was served in the Table Table restaurant opposite and was nice.

Overall we paid less than £45 inc breakfast so would definitely stay again if in the area.

Great hotel, clean, comfortable and would stay again and happy to recommend. Service in the bar/restaurant next door was appalling, asked if we could sit by the window as waiting fir someone to arrive and told by waiter we would have to order food at the bar, he didn't tell us the waitress wouldn't serve us drinks or he would refuse to clear our table!

Stopped overnight in Colchester for an event the next day. Nice clean, and quiet rooms, got a pleasant nights sleep. Got great value for money getting the dinner and breakfast included, so didn't have to find somewhere else to eat.

Have stayed here before - as usual the check in went smoothly, the staff are friendly and helpful and the room was clean. As we checked in late the young check in lady (who happened to be Polish with an almost unpronounceable name so I can't mention her by name) was so helpful in offering to take our bags up to the room for us - how nice is that!!! We always stay with Premier Inn where ever we go - you know exactly what you are going to get. I think the Continental breakfast is getting a bit expensive now. There is no lift in this hotel or I would have given it an extra *star. Have stayed here before and will stay here again when next in the area.
