“Fine Dine forget the Soda & Lime”
Reviewed February 23, 2014 via mobile

Food was perfectly acceptable & service was great. I was truly shocked to receive the drinks bill. £3.95 for lime & soda for my pregnant partner. I will not be revisiting for this reason until they re-evaluate their drinks menu.

“The Best I've tasted”
Reviewed February 23, 2014 via mobile

We went on a Saturday night and it was very busy but the service was still good with enough staff to cope. The food is the main thing and this was the best I have had and at very reasonable prices.
Every dish was superb with just the right spicy "hit" in the curries and sauces. Definitely recommended. We will be back soon!

“Interesting”
Reviewed February 21, 2014

The food was perfectly acceptable Thai fare, with enough choice on the menu for everyone in our party without being so extensive that you cannot remember the options available! Our waiter struggled a little with requests for variations in our order, for instance please make sure that XXX dish is not too hot was met with 'all our food is cooked fresh so its always very hot! but we did get our wishes in the end! All part of the authentic experience I suppose. The staff overall were very attentive but it was a quiet night & we were the only party in the upstairs section of the restaurant. So nothing out of the ordinary but a perfectly good meal & at a great price as they were happy to accept my daughters ' taste card' & reduced our bill by over 30% .

“Tesco Clubcard voucher users - beware”
Reviewed February 9, 2014 via mobile

Once the food we ordered started to arrive we were informed that we could not use our Clubcard vouchers for the set menu prices ,only a la carte! We would have ordered differently if we were aware of this.

We are regulars at the Naka Thai, sadly not anymore as the way we were treated was quite rude, try Thai 1 up the road from Naka, great food and great friendly service

“Excellent food!”
Reviewed February 8, 2014

My partner and I decided to eat here on a Saturday night because they accept the Taste Card 7 days a week. The food, even without the discount, was amazing value for money. The tom yum soup really was delicious and the beef massaman was definitely our favourite main dish - the beef was excellent quality and there was plenty of it. Staff were very attentive. Would certainly recommend - but remember to take a cardigan, it is a little chilly.
