We spent a weekend here whilst the girls were competing locally. The staff were all very good especially Elizabeth who was absolutely fantastic and helped us regardless of what we needed.
Situated next to a Beefeater restaurant and if you dont fancy that, there was a fish and chip shop close by and its right next to a sainsburys local store and opposite a Tesco's garage for those little odds and ends. A tiny bit further afield there is a big Morrisons and a number of other pubs and restaurants, so ideal location to stay.
Its on a main road but we never heard a thing as we had a room at the back. View was not so good but then this did not matter as we were not in the room that much.
The staff in adjoining Beefeater, where we had breakfast, we all excellent and very firendly. All youngsters but more than helpful when needed.
This hotel seems to have had a recent upgrade but not sure it was noticable. Rooms could do with some air con as we foud them really hot, even in January. So not sure I would want to be there in the middle of summer. But never the less a really good hotel overall and typical of the Premierinn standard. Car park could do with some attention and with being a bit bigger and there was abrown stain on the room carpet that really shold have been sorted out before our arrival although they did offer us another room.

Room Tip: Get a room at the back if you want quiet away from the main road.

Excellent, clean room, bathroom and bed - cant fault the room. Location perfect for getting to a party nearby. Did not stay for breakfast due to time limitations, nor evening meal due to attending an organised party at bleary venue.

we stayed here with my parents in seperate rooms as my Brother & his partner live in rotherham, my dad stays here regularly when he visits, but this was my first time as mt dad wanted to take us all for a meal so would have been too late to drive back to Leicester.

was a busy weekend in the hotel but check in was effeciant and friendly. room was a good size and clean. I made use of the deep bath and had a lovely hot soak, sainsburys local is next door to the hotel for any items.

we ate at the beefeater next door, staff were great and made a huge fuss of my 15 month nephew - which he loved :-) food was great, good value and plentiful, and quick at coming out.

we had a good nights sleep in the huge comfy bed.

as others have said, the car park is on a first come first served basis, more rooms than they have spaces, and the spaces are also quite tight, so if you have a 4x4 you MAY struggle on a busy night.

breakfast is served in the beefeater, again, friendly effeciant staff. cant fault it and would def stay here again

Another stay at this hotel on 23rd December roughly a year since last stay. Arrived about half 4, quick and easy check in, bought the 24 hours wifi access for £3 which seems a good deal. The hotel has a pub next door which I didn't use. Room was nice although could of done with a bit more warmth. Car park is ok although it could be made better. A few shops nearby if you need anything. Overall I'd like the hotel as this was a repeat visit.

Last time I stayed at this particular hotel was two years ago. Since that time the hotel has had a major renovation. I was allocated a room on the top floor, lovely clean restful double room and bathroom. Incredibly quiet day and night. Now have a large flat screen TV, so much nicer than the small portables from before. Only wish there was a lift, as four flights of stairs with a suitcase is no fun. WiFi prices have been considerably dropped since last visit, which is great, The first 30 minutes of WiFi is free. Staff bend over backwards to be helpful. Stayed for two nights. Car park can get a little congested, but there is a car park the other side of the pub for the overflow. Met up with friends for my trip, and we all had rooms on the same floor. Will definitely use this hotel again.
