My husband collected our takeaway from this restaurant on Friday night.
He came back telling me how impressive the reastaurant was and the staff friendly,we
decided we would try it out the next time we went out for an Indian meal. That was before we tasted the food!!!
We had a lamb saag and a chiken tikka dupiaza. The lamb of what little there was tasted slimey and the rest was just spinach. The chicken for what there was looked like it had been bought from Tescos, the kind where you buy it prepared in small slices. Enough said that it all went in the bin!

Thursday night - fancied a curry so off we went after almost a year since we were last there as it's a bit of a drive from home.

Well worth it, still good food and service if perhaps a bit expensive for mid week but once a year won't hurt and we really mustn't leave it this long before we return again, as return we certainly will!

went last night, was a monday so not busy at all, food came quickly, was absolutely beautiful and we were regularly asked if we wanted drinks etc. cost £36 for 2 of us with 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 rice, a garlic naan to share and 2 drinks so average prices for the area. will go again

Been to a lot of Indian restaurants over the years but have to say this is one of the best, visit regular. Staff always friendly and helpfull lovely atmosphere, food brilliant. Took a group of friends recently who had never been and not stopped talking about how nice everything was.

Me and a group of friends decided to visit one friday night, well as soon as we arrived we were not acknowledged by any of the staff we had to wait at least 10-15 minutes before anyone came and handed menus to us. We were left to debate what we wanted for at least another 30 minutes whilst still sat near the door in the 'waiting area' I guess, no one came to see if we had finished debating and wanted to order. When we finally ordered our meals we were shown to a table next to the kitchen of the restaurant with staff and people coming past our table and constantly shoving past. We were served our drinks first and one of us ordered a coke which was at an understatement appalling it was very very flat and tasteless, it seemed like it had been sat on the side for ages in warm conditions and it tasted very cheap not what you want when you visit a restaurant!! Our food finally arrived and the chicken was served in huge great chunks which tasted very bland, chewy and not fresh at all. The rice tasted like the stuff you buy in supermarkets 'boil in a bag' disgusting and cheap!! Not mentioning that throughout our meal we had to deal with huge groups of disrespectful people screaming, shouting, swearing and demanding throughout their stay, obviously thinking it was a nightclub rather than a quiet restaurant. We just couldn't wait to get out away from the terrible atmosphere and even worse food!! Overall I feel like I have been ripped off by cheap food and drink that is over-priced and tastes absolutely disgusting!! I have visited many Indian restaurants throughout Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster and I can honestly say this is the worse yet. I would not visit again even if the meals were free, avoid don't waste your money!!!!
