Had a really good meal delivered. We all enjoyed and would recommend anyone to try. All 4 of us had a different meal along with tomato and cheese garlic bread which was lovely.

I went early on a Wednesday evening at around tea time. There were two of us. I did book and the booking was handled efficiently. On arrival we were seated immediately at our table of this 70 cover restaurant. There isn't a lounge area so straight to the table you go. After a couple of minutes looking at the menu our drinks order was taken. Around ten minutes later our order was taken - spaghetti carbonara main, seafood sancake starter, rigatoni with lamb ragu and diced lamb and a side of garlic, tomato and pesto bread. The carbonara arrived, as requested, with the seafood pancake. The pancake was delicious - mussels, king prawn, scallops, prawns in a wonderful tomato sauce all enveloped in a soft pancake and baked in the oven. The carbonara was perfect - it may not have been an actual true carbonara as in the spaghetti juices being bound with egg yolk and parmesan as it did taste creamy, but it had ham. cheese and cream and coated the pasta perfectly, not swimming in sauce. The starter was cleared with great timing and the rigatoni arrived with perfect timing too. The rigatoni was sublime - chunky tubes of pasta cooked properly with a little bite to it and the little white line running through the pasta signifying perfectly cooked pasta. The sauce of minced lamb and perfectly tender lamb chunks folded through the pasta was bursting with flavour. Shaved parmesan was plentiful. This was a sound, well executed dish. The accompanying bread was fantastic, with lots of basil and tomato flavour. We declined dessert as the portions are good and certainly are excellent value. A starter, two main courses, a side dish and two drink came to £35. Service was polite and good. The only tiny thing I would say would make the experience absolutely perfect would be a check on how your food is and drinks upsell. But that is the only thing. Everything else was perfect. And the cleanliness. It is absolutely spotless. The loos, the light fittings, the picture frames. Spotless. Get yourself to this restaurant. It is brilliant

This is a very busy restaurant... booking is advisable in the summer otherwise you won’t be able to get in.
Food is very nice with a good variety of Italian quisuine.
Can be a bit noisy but better than being empty!!
It’s not cheap but it’s worth a visit.

Ten of us attended a celebration here after a family funeral. The place was very busy, even on a Thursday evening in February. We were seated quickly and our order for drinks quickly taken. The only complaint I have about the whole evening was that, after receiving the drinks, we were left for over 20 minutes with the menus but without anyone coming back to take the order. We noticed that 2 of the adjacent tables who had arrived after us were getting their orders taken and when we pointed out to a member of staff that we were waiting the error was rectified. After this food arrived quickly, was very nice and the rest of the evening went well. Would definitely visit again. Prices were reasonable,10 people 2 courses with plenty of drinks £280
