Stayed for 2 nights with family. On arrival it were quick and easy check in. An immediate concern was that when the car keys were handed in, they were left in a box all mixed up with others behind reception, and every so easy to get. It were a case of asking reception and then grabbing your keys out of a box. Anyone could take a set of car keys. We understand that if a car needs moving fair enough as parking were around the back but also none of that staff that weekend drove, Very worrying . I recommened that this method is changed quickly. When we got to our room, it were nice and clean as expected however, i noticed that the room we were in only had a netcurtain in the bathroom. Slight issue when theres hotel/flats that can see straight in when the light is on that are also eye level! Id recommend making sure theres curtains or blinds in each bathroom where needed. All the food were fantastic and all of our party said the same. First night were a little short reguards the entertainment but the second night redeamed itself! Brilliant. Although, the poor lady who worked the bar the second night were a chamber maid, and not trained up to worked behind the bar. However, she did a brilliant job considering. I would also like to thank Jenny, as she were there morning and night and ever so lovely, always happy and welcoming. The two younger recpetionist i would say need a little more training in customer service, Never at reception, always had to wait. Considering all the above, the hotel were lovely, and we would stay here again.

Myself and my partner have just returned from a 2 night break at The Sun Hotel in Skegness. We had never heard of this hotel, let alone stayed in it, and we were both a little concerned what it was going to be like. Booked through Ukbreakaways. On arrival, park the car. No problem, only room for half a dozen cars. Into the hotel. First impressions very clean and tidy. To our room number 25. Clean comfortable double bed. Plenty of storage space and a clean, large bathroom with a bath and shower. So far very good. Down for dinner. Absolutely superb. An abundance of fresh home cooked food. The lady in charge of restaurant was a gem. Everything was superb. So much so we have booked again. Try it. Hope you are not disappointed

Where do I start.... I had to wait for the receptionist to appear, then she didn't know where my room was and thought it was hilarious. The stairs haven't seen a Hoover ever!! The room was not clean and absolutely tiny and it was a double room. At half 11 somebody got stuck in the lift and was banging for ages and there was a lot of drunk people in the hallway laughing and shouting this carried on for half an hour. The only reason I gave one star was for the breakfast it was decent and the man serving was a happy member of staff the others really weren't morning people. I will never stay there again! It was the only one available as it was in the summer holidays.

Booked last minute twin bed room with lovely big bathroom. Breakfast was buffet style, cereals yogurt fruit and full English very good. Not guaranteed car park, but plenty of side streets to park in nearby! Only negative was music in the lounge did carry upstairs if you wanted an early night. Would definitely book again and recommend! Staff very helpful.
