We arrived early and went straight to the Fountaindale to drop our luggage and found the lovely Tracey with a warm friendly welcome who showed us straight to our rooms. I love the traditional English B&B's which are always an eclectic mix of rooms. Ours was a twin with two single beds. a table with tea making facilities, a wardrobe and sandwiched between the two beds was the door leading to a small ensuite shower room. The room was spotlessly clean and had all we needed for our one night stay. My cousin's single room was rather spacious and grand with the bed placed in a large bay window. On the back of the door was a thoughtfully placed bathrobe since the bathroom with a huge bathtub was across the corridor.
Tracey gave us a map and some info about the local area, unfortunately we forgot to ask about a good place to eat and ended up at the steakhouse diagonally across the road for dinner. The décor was tacky and the food fairly average. Skeggy is a very walkable town, we felt that the distance from the town centre was an easy walk and walked to the seal sanctuary without any trouble, stopping along the way to look at the many and varied sights.
Breakfast was served at 8:30 which suited us just fine. The selection of food was very good and the hot food was quickly prepared and served. The treat for me was the lovely lady serving the food, so professional and proper!
Thanks Fountaindale for a lovely Skeggy stay, something I missed out on living in the UK in my childhood.

Just returned from a very nice relaxing three days using this hotel. First class quality, super clean place. When first greeted, we were advised on procedures and showed to our room. Breakfast at 8.30. tea and drinks were offered which was promptly served and as soon as our cereal was finished, the cooked breakfast was delivered. There is a very nice sitting room for guests and is very pleasant. Decor and tiling has all been done professionally, with no wiring or plumbing showing. I would not hesitate in advising anyone to use this hotel. Sarah and steve

We have just returned from a week at the Fountaindale. We cannot recommend it highly enough. We were there with friends and we all thought our rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. Towels were changed every day and beds changed mid week. Bathrooms spotless. The breakfasts were amazing as was the service we received every morning from our host Tracy and Doreen who saw to our every need. anyone visiting Skegness would go a long way to find anything better. Thank you Tracy and Doreen.

When I arrived at the suningdale hotel it looked very welcoming and the hosts were fantastic they showed us to our room. The room was spotless and was a good size for a family room with a good sized shower. The host recommended good places to eat and gave us directions.⤵⤴⬇

The Breakfast was great with a choice of cereals, toast or a full English and was asked if we wanted more tea or toast!
I wish we could of stayed longer!☕

I would recommend the suningdale hotel to anyone.
I give it a 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

clean hotel but food was poor and we were treated like if you dont like it there is the door !! sleep is no good as you were woken from 5.45 each as it seemed this was done to make sure you were at the breakfast table by 8.30 and out by 9.00 so they can clean.when food was dropped by them they used disinfectant whilst people were eating instead just clean the area up then after breakfast and people had eaten then use disinfectant !!!

Room Tip: please read reviews before you book as we were not told about the noise even though the owner told u...

Just back from a one night stay at this guest house/hotel and wish we could have stayed longer.

On arrival we were met at the door with a very warm welcome, the lady whom I think was the owner saw my husband walked with a crutch and immediately offered us a twin ground floor room, even though I was silly enough not to have mentioned this at the booking stage. We were shown to the room which was spotlessly clean with a large shower room, and very tastefully decorated.

We were advised of the time and place for breakfast, which was large starting with cereal, fruit, yoghurt and full English and repeatedly asked if we wanted more toast or tea.

The parking is ample, the house is very close to shops and sea front, even so it is very quiet and residential.

We were advised of the best restaurants to eat for an evening meal and chose Italian.

We would recommend this hotel and would use it again.

Thank you for a very pleasant stay
