“Delightful, welcoming, friendly, homely place to stay”
Reviewed August 26, 2013 via mobile

Having stayed here before as a couple we didn't hesitate to book to stay again for our family weekend away with our two young children. The family running the hotel remembered us and made us feel entirely at home. The interior is full of character with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Our room was a good size with comfortable beds and a large bathroom and was meticulously clean. Breakfast was varied and plentiful with a good choice of cereal and freshly cooked full English. My husband asked for a couple of breakfast items not on the menu which the hosts were more than happy to provide. The service was second to none!! On the whole an absolutely wonderful place to stay and great value for money. We have already booked to stay again. Highly recommended.

When I arrived at the suningdale hotel it looked very welcoming and the hosts were fantastic they showed us to our room. The room was spotless and was a good size for a family room with a good sized shower. The host recommended good places to eat and gave us directions.⤵⤴⬇

The Breakfast was great with a choice of cereals, toast or a full English and was asked if we wanted more tea or toast!
I wish we could of stayed longer!☕

I would recommend the suningdale hotel to anyone.
I give it a 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

just spent a week at this lovely family run hotel (lovely people) The breakfasts were superb and the service second to none.We were in the 4 poster bedroom and it was spotless with plenty of room for your bits and pieces.Think i counted about 12 drawers along with the double wardrobe. If you see any bad reviews about this hotel ignore them because it is a little gem.We will certainly be going again.

Arrived to a friendly welcome, no fuss, let us get on with it, just how it should be. Familly room was fair sized, clean and tidy, with decent onsuite bathroom facilities. Breakfast was well organised and accomodating with ample food to keep you going. The hotel is in a great location away from all the centres hussle. We would definately stay here again next time we are in Skeggy - at which time we will return the bottle opener we borrowed, sorry!

Room Tip: Room 1 is a nice spacious familly room overloking the road which is not too noisy.

Top marks for welcome, service, breakfast, cleanliness, well decorated rooms with thoughtful design, we have stayed here probably ten times, upgrading is more or less continious your dog is welcome as well even gets a sausage for breakfast, really nice owners, nothing is too much trouble

Room Tip: They are all ok, overlooking the side road may be marginally quieter but that is really not an issue

Well, where shall i start !! ?
Our "deluxe double " according to all previous users provides a cosy ,comfortable , pleasing to the eye room offering a Kingsize bed, modern funiture and en-suite full bathroom.
No one has found this room small and have appreciated a larger bed for more comfort.
The small collection of vintage dolls and prams on display are not seen as toys by most guests but as a nostalgic reminder our their past and a great topic of conversation with many people.
Breakfast consists of an unlimited amount of varied cerals, fresh fruit and toast along with a full english breakfast consisting of bacon, sausage, egg, tomoto, hash brown & beans or lighter choices such as poached eggs . This choice satisfies mosts guests and sets them up for the day ahead.
We provide cups and saucers rather than mugs but drinks are unlimited and the salt & pepper pots provide an adequate amount for a breakfast with a request for a second helping unheard of !!
During our 14 years of owning a guest house we have tried to accommodate our guests needs to the best of our ability including being available 24 hrs per day, rectifying any problems that may occur unexpectantly, assisting with operating room facilities and meeting personal preferences with diets etc but one thing we have learnt is that we will never be able to please everyone but know that we have always done our best to do so.
