This is a lovely theatre in Stamford, Lincs. Saw an opera there, we were in row k, middle. Very good seat, could see easily. Only one thing that could be a problem for people with walking difficulties or bad knees, the theatre slopes down. The walkway down the centre of the seats slopes substantially, which of course means that on the way back up after the performance it could be a problem too.
Bought a drink in the interval quite easily, got served fairly quickly.
Great venue.

We have been here a couple of times now.
Once to see the ELO Experience and the other night for the Michael Jackson Tribute.

Yes the slope is steep and the wife uses a crutches so the slope is formidable.

So we sit up near the back and because of the steepness we can see everything. So in our particular case its a good thing. Oh and old age is catching up and being right up close to those speakers would have had my ears ringing.

The Staff are excellent. Always friendly and helpful. I believe they are volunteers and so are happy to be there. Bonus.

We intend to visit quite a few more times.

Wow.....Magical....Very different.....Relaxed......Friendly......Very helpful

These were just some comments from the guests attending our daughter's Wedding.
Carla had lots of ideas about how she wanted her wedding to Andrew to be......all and more were achieved by Judith, Albert and volunteers. The Reception was superb so a big thank you goes to Andy Binder and his girls too.
The actual ceremony was on stage, complete with sparkling back cloth and falling petals......magical.
Considering this was the Corn Exchange's first wedding on the stage and in the restaurant below
all went without a hitch. As it was a wet October day it was an ideal place as plenty of comfortable seats and an open bar kept everyone happy while photos were taken.

A brilliant place to hold a wedding with a difference....and as it is a charity all the money helps to keep this marvellous old building functioning.

Ann Hovell...a well chuffed Mum (and Mother in Law!)

The venue is very good and has built up a great list of artistes. Yes, the slope down to the main seating is formidable but staff are always on hand to help.
We often go to shows and my only minor niggle is that with some (mainly music) the back folding doors are often left open. This can make it rather cold for those sitting towards the back and noisy if there are people who stay at the bar.

I love coming here and listening to bands that were on the circuit up to forty years ago...there is a wonderful diversity from The Real Thing to Peterborough Male Voice Choir. And these artists create a great atmosphere of enjoyment.
