Excellant in every way- tastefully decorated room and house, modern bathroom, vv clean. Breakfast to die for - all fresh, good quality food. Friendly, happy host. Central location - 2 minute walk to bridge and town centre. We arrived on touring bikes, given a secure lock-up and made welcome. Excellant value - worth every penny.

We stayed at Meadow View on Friday 8th June as we were at a wedding at nearby Burleigh House. The room was lovely, very comfortable & clean. The breakfast was amazing - a huge selection of different things. Would definitely recommend this B&B!

Stayed over Jubilee weekend for 2 nights. Mark is very welcoming - we had tea/coffee and cakes on 2 occasions and even a bottle of pink bubbly to toast tthe Queen! There was a massive choice at breakfast. Everything is very clean. We parked in the nearby carpark and it only cost£3 for the whole stay. We would definitely recommend Meadow

Room Tip: If you want a room with a bath request this.

One night was not enough, Room a little small, but very cosy and everything we needed for our stay, A very warm welcome from Mark, who looked after us very well. Tea/coffee & cake when we arrived. The breakfast was fab.
I am sure we shall visit Stamford again it is a lovely market town.
It is an easy walk into the town. parking however is at the end of the road, but just a very short walk. lots of places to eat in Stamford
Meadow View will be the place we should like to stay.

Meadow View has to be one of the best B&Bs we've ever stayed in. We chose it for its convenient central location in historic Stamford, where all the surrounding houses are traditional stone; it's a short walk from the famous George Hotel, where we had an excellent dinner, and the town centre. The first thing that struck us was the interior design - a tasteful blend of antiques with a sophisticated contemporary twist. For somewhere recently refurbished, it had character and felt more like staying in a country house hotel than a town house. The bathroom was brand new with premium fittings and absolutely spotless. Bedsheets and towels were made of sumptuous top quality cotton. Fresh milk was even provided in the room, but what impressed me most was a decanter of complimentary amontillado sherry - what an original touch and very good quality too! We're not fans of full English, so were even more impressed to be greeted with freshly sliced fruits, muesli and yoghurt in the morning and we were offered smoked salmon and scrambled egg, which was perfect. Mark was an excellent host and as well as being conversational, laid back and genuine, helped us with where to eat and what to see in Stamford. He let us choose when to have breakfast and what time to check out, which was refreshing too.

Room Tip: We stayed in the room featured on the site with a horse cushion. It was gorgeous.

I stayed at Meadow View last weekend and enjoyed every moment of my stay.
Mark was so friendly and helpful both when booking the rooms and when we were there.
Breakfast was a feast with such a wide choice that I defy anyone not to be tempted beyond their capacity: I was! A lovely comfortable bed; my sister-in-law's need for non feather bedding catered for without fuss; parking for the car; and an ambiance and decor, together with Mark's welcome, created a feeling of being truly cared for; I would love to go back soon and will certainly stay there again when I next visit Stamford.

Room Tip: This is a house so the rooms vary: all are comfortable and well appointed.

On arrival you are welcomed with coffee and cake in the guests’ lounge which is available for you to use any time.

The room was fairly small, but saying that it was very well laid out, clean and immaculate. Sherry, chocolates and biscuits, shower gel, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner were all provided. The ensuite shower room was compact but fine, very clean and well laid out.

It is only a short walk in to Stamford, across a green with river bridge.

Fantastic breakfast, full English, muesli, fresh fruit, summer fruits, yoghurt, croissants and pains au chocolat and fresh fruit juices and coffee served in the huge kitchen diner

The is only enough room for one car to park behind the gates, and although paid for parking was offered on the public car park very close to the house you may need to prearrange the parking before arrival.
