Visted Simla on Saturday 14th July with my wife and teenage daughter. This place just gets better and better. Both myself and my daughter went for the Seabass with Ginger & Lime. My daughter has been raving about it so I decided to try it. It did not dissapoint. 10/10. My wife had vegetable pathia. Unlike so may restaurants the vegaetarian option wasnt just a pile of boiled vegetables slung into a sauce. Having tried a bit the vegetables were well cooked and seasoned. This dish too although not a veggie myself was brilliant too.
Even though the restaurant was busy, take aways were flying out the door, the service was as it always is, friendly and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble for the guys.
One thing I would say about Simla is they put their own stamp on each dish. Nothing is ever mundane or ordinary here. Presentation of the food is always superb.
Whilst Boldmere has many Asian restaurants. For quality and value Simla is way ahead of the rest.
