Came back to moxhull for a first anniversary couldn't be happier Tony is a star he recognised us on arrival and sent up to our room the same wedding drink we had on our big day.
We were given the bridal suite as there were no weddings on that day we booked in the restaurant for 8.30 the staff were attentive but not in your face.
I had the scollops with mushroom velouté to start this was after a complimentary mushroom soup (the bread was stunning)
My wife chose the pâté which was huge but delicious.
My wife's main was the sea bass fillets with scallions mushrooms and pancetta she ordered a side of veg but didn't need them
My main course was a medium rare sirloin with portobello mushrooms with skinny chips £1.50 for the chips not bad :)
NOW the steak is TO big :) it killed me you expect a restaurant steak to be 6-8 oz not here its a whopping 12oz of prime sirloin cooked to perfection.
We retired to the bar stuffed only for tony to sit us down and he bought the wife our wedding day dessert Eaton mess .
Can't wait for breakfast this morning !!!!
