We had a table for 9 at the Jahed to celebrate my mother's 80th Birthday. All the JAHED team were truly amazing. So attentive, funny and kind. The food was amazing too and excellent value. You could see the cooks in the kitchen from a glass screen (which my mother particularly liked). i was too busy admiring and eating the food! At the end of the evening, the JAHED presented my mother with a piece of Jahed porcelain, a bottle of wine and some roses too! How absolutely wonderful

Thank you again JAHED. We can't wait to come back!

The first thing to bring up is the service, nothing less than first class! The whole team at Jahed is attentive whether you are just there for takeaway or sit in!

The food is where they really excel though....brilliantly put together dishes that make those of us who don't just stick to Korma or Chicken Tikka extremely happy! Get your teeth into the Murchi Murgh!

I have visited Jahed for almost 20 years and their food has generally been of very high standard compared to other establishments.
It is well worth a visit especially for their chicken tikka which is so soft. Having read other reviews I agree the hotter dishes are mild and you have to ask for then to be made hot, which of course you are unaware if if going for a first visit. Regarding the manager he does lack some interpersonal skills but if this is ignored he is pleasant. A genuine smile instead of a forced one would be beneficial

Excellent service, good banter and a rose at the end. I had never been here before but will certainly go again.

It was our third anniversary and the staff at the Jahed made us feel so welcome as soon as we walked through the door. The knowledge of the food by the staff was fantastic and our meal met all expectations. The banter with the staff was great fun and you can see the chefs cooking your food which was quite amusing. We normally use another local curry house for our takeaway but we will now be using the Jahed.
We are looking forward to our next visit at the Jahed.
