My husband and I have just had a further visit to Bartletts Farm. We had three nights, and it was just lovely, apart from lots of rain!! Very relaxing atmosphere, home from home. Peaceful location, with nice local pubs that serve good food. Do give it a try!

We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived, we had a lovely room overlooking the front of the property. Judith recommended 'The Crown' for our evening meal in nearby Fivehead, which was a great choice. We found the room rather hot overnight and to open a window meant it attracted the insects , there was a fan in the room for our use , but not big enough to cool the room.
Breakfast was a little dissapointing as there was a certificate showing it had achieved an award, but for me the sausages were well overcooked as were the mushrooms, I also did not like having to sit round the same table as all the other guests, as this was the first time we had seen any of the ather guests.

Room Tip: Only three rooms available , one family room, one double and one twin.

I am very sorry that you were not happy with the size of the fan, sharing a table and the over cooked sausages , if any of these problems were brought to my attention at the time of your visit I would have done my best to correct these problems, I even give guest the choice of writing comments on the bottom of their registration forms if they feel they were unable to speak to me, I am so sorry that you were unable to give me the chance to put right your comments. We try our best to accommodate all our guests and look after their needs, If as on this occasion we fail I would like the opportunity to put things right rather than getting bad feed bad on sites like this.
Kind regards Judith

We stayed two nights in this delightful B and B. a great working farm. We were looked after so very well and felt so at home. Lots of little touches and thoughts. A brilliant breakfast with most of the produce coming from the farm. HIGHLY recommend The Crown in Fivehead. We ate there both nights. A REAL community pub you will be very early welcomed and excellent value food. The farm is well located we have to come back to see more, ran out of time! If you want peace and quiet, fresh country air, chill time, being looked after, good food and goos sized bedrooms this is THE place!

Judith made us feel well at home as soon as we arrived. we had a lovely spotlessly clean room with everything provided in quiet country surroundings. its a lovely area to visit, there's a friendly local pub not too far distant for a reasonable evening meal and then back to sit in a comfortable chair to watch TV before turning in for a peaceful night's sleep. next morning a delicious home cooked breakfast and so welcoming we will definitely return when we are next visiting the area - we had a voucher which introduced us to the farm but we stayed an extra night as we were spending the day at the Bath & West Showground and it was well worth it.

Judith welcomed us immediately we arrived for our one night stay. Lovely homely room, lovely view and a wonderful homemade breakfast. Although we were only there for one night we couldn't have chosen a nicer relaxing B and B with our voucher we had for a Christmas present. Well done Judith carry on with your good work enjoying welcoming your guests to your home.

Although we live in Somerset ourselves, we stayed at the farm for a night recently as it is in an area of the county we don't know very well but wanted to explore. From the start, Judith made us very welcome, and the bedroom and ensuite were clean, spacious and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious , especially the homemade sausages. In the short time we were in the area, we visited the ancient market town of Langport and walked along the Parrett trail for quite a way. It would be great for a bike ride as so many flat tracks. Isle Brewers and Isle Abbotts are delightful, and we also managed to visit 2 RSPB sites at Swell and Greylake. Would recommend to anyone wanting the perfect break away in the country.

Judith was one of the most welcoming B&B hosts we encountered on our two-week trip around England. The room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The area is lovely to drive around, and if we'd had more time we would have hiked on the footpaths. Fun to be right with the cows on this working dairy farm. We would highly recommend Bartletts Farm B&B.

Room Tip: Room 2 was great, don't know what the others are like.
