Not easy to find, so get your maps loaded in advance and your sat nav working. However, worth the hunt and the drive. Far better food than your normal gastro pub and a good level of service. Could do with a better wine list.

We spent a Saturday night at this lovely place in the Somerset countryside. A tastefully furnished spacious room, a warm welcome and home-cooked food to die for. Very good value for money. Highly recommended if your travels take you in this wonderful part of the country!

Alison and her team should be congratulated for the level of service and quality of the food on a busy Sunday lunchtime. The atmosphere was lovely with a mix of locals popping out for a Sunday pint after a walk with their dogs to family parties enjoying the luxury of being cooked for. Everything was home made and delicious. A special mention should go the to the vegetables which were cooked to perfection with just a little bite. Portion size was good too so we could eat everything but not feel too overfull. The tomato and mozzarella was far better than anything we had eaten in Italy this summer! We will return.

This is a destination pub, off the beaten track but worth every effort to find. Freshly cooked & prepared food, warm welcome, friendly service staff, all executed very well. Perfect place to go as a couple or as a group, book in advance though, as I think the secret is out! We will most definitely be back!

I have recently had my 40th Birthday party here. There were 30 of us for a sit down meal. The owner of the pub could not have been more helpful in the planning of this event in helping me choose a pre-order menu, wines and various other bits and pieces.
The food was delicious and portions very generous. The gourmet burgers seemed to be the talk of the night!
The staff ensured a seamless evening (despite the fact we were half an hour late due to transport) and let us stay and party after the meal.
Thanks Farmers Arms - we'll be back!
